I love the quote "So many books, so little time." Sure applies to us, doesn't it?! I cannot wait to retire so I can read more!
Welcome Martha. I am sure you will find plenty of new authors to read from the recommendations here. I know my TBR pile grows daily.

Hi Martha, nice to meet you here. I sometimes even find it hard to choose between reading a book and browsing around GR. Our time is scarce... Good luck on your booklists!

you probably haven't heard of me either, but I hope you will check me out. Whether you read me or not, I am always about to help, or just talk,
Yours MJC-Callum

Hi Martha, nice to meet you here. I sometimes even find..."
Laura: I have the same dilemma. But it is so hard to catch up on posts and I don't want to miss anything. I try to get some reading in the morning or at night before I go to sleep.

I'm from the Chicago area. So you are among fellow Illinoisans.
I've been reading those Daisy Dalrymple books. They're enjoyable but fairly light and quick. I think Maisie is a little more thoughtful.
But I like them both, I think. Verdict may still be out on Maisie. I'll see about the second book.

Susan, I was in Wisconsin on Friday on a small lake near Trevor. Beautiful!!"
I used to live in Trevor!!! Now I am closer to Milwaukee......I love it here except in the winter when we get 100 inches of snow!! BLECK!!!
Mona, I'm the same - don't want to miss a thing. And it's so lovely to get the inspiration for more to read and get to know everyone. I mostly get my reading hour(s) before going to sleep. We're having more quiet times in the office now that it's summer, so I'm making the most of it on GR! :)

Laura & Mona, I've gotten pretty addicted to following posts on here. There are so MANY, it's hard to keep up! Love it though.

I've been a member a few days & trying to read some of the posts. This seems like an active & fun group. I look forward to getting to know you. One of the great things about groups is learning about books & authors I'd never heard of before. It's amazing!!
I love mysteries mostly, but also biographies & history, some horror. I read when I can ... usually night & early morning unless we're camping & then it's off & on all day.
