Steven | 9 comments I am loving the book so far, but was anyone else freaked out at first by the russian accent that did not have any a, an, or the's? I am loving it now, but that was weird. NO SPOILERS PLEASE!!!!! Also, can anyone else hear a slight scottish accent? just wondering

John | 43 comments I found the russian accent made the missing articles less intrusive. Lloyd James does a fantastic job with most of the voices. Not sure about a scottish accent but I'm pretty sure he slipped out of the russian accent in few places of the narration.

Sandi (sandikal) | 1212 comments I'm a little late to the discussion. I've been listening to the audio book for about a week now. I really love the narrator. He does an absolutely fabulous job. I like the accent because it's not pure anything. It's what you'd get if a bunch of people from different countries lived together.

That said, I'm really hating the book. I've got about 4-1/2 hours left and don't know if I can stick with it. The only thing that keeps me going is the narrator.

Joe Osborne | 94 comments I agree with Sandi. I listened tho the audio book about 18 months ago and remember hating it not because of the narration but because I just hated the story. I thought that this was one of Heinleins worst books.

Sandi (sandikal) | 1212 comments I think it may actually be worse than Stranger in a Strange Land.
