One More Breath Away

One more breathe away,
I could be gone.
Even if you look, it’s too late,
You’ll be alone.
In the night, or in the day,
You’d wish we were one.
Every time, you pray,
For a new dawn…

One of us had to go.
I prefer it to be me.
It hurts, but I had to, though.
My heart is as big as the sea.
I never thought I’d get so low.
Feeling like a weed.
The dominos fell in a row.
The story I never agreed…
To be part of.

My feelings at me up,
I couldn’t see.
I drank from the death cup,
Dying free.

It's more of a poem than it is a song, and it's kinda creepy.

A flag white as snow

Just medals and scars
So damn proud of me
And I brought home that flag
Now it gathers dust
But it’s a flag that I love
It’s the only flag I trust
