Nancy, I don't know anything about that book, but if you look at the page, it has only been rated by one person, becky, and if you go to becky's profile you will see this is the only book she has shelved and basically all her activity here on Goodreads is promoting this one book. Probably the author, using a different name. :o)

I just saw the synopsis for this the other day, and it looks like it would be very interesting. ;)

I've debated what to nominate and I think I'll go with The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood.

It was published, according to GR, in 2008. On the GR page where you can see availability, most sellers have it listed as a "print on demand" book. I checked my library and they do not have a copy. So, if you vote for this book, realize that you will have to order it and most likely pay at least $12-$15, plus postage in some/most cases, to read this book. It is not available in ebook form.
Hi Skena. :o)
I checked your profile yesterday and it said you were 11 years old. Is that correct? (I don't see it listed today).
I love your avatar of the Little Mermaid. My daughter loves the Little Mermaid also. :o)

My library has several copies, and I was able to get it on Paperbackswap really quickly - From what I gather, it's kind of popular among high school and college students as a classic / dystopian novel. And I check the Borders site and it lists as "likely in store" for all the ones in my area - maybe there's a different edition or something that you were looking at Shay?
