Nothing But Reading Challenges discussion

For this challenge, you read a book, then for your second book the author's first name has to start with the same letter as the first book's author's last name.

Example

(title) by R F DelderfielD
(title) by David neviN (DelderfielD ends with d, so this author's first name starts with d also)
(title) by Nancy FairbankS (neviN ends with n, and Nancy starts with it.)

This one is kind of tricky to plan out because lots of writers' first names start with J but almost no last names end with it, etc. But it might be a good way to whittle the TBR list!

I think I get it, Jennifer. So if I read something by Nora Roberts then I'd have to read a book by an author starting with the letter S. Am I correct?

Exactly.

Challenging, I'm in. Better start to figure this one out.

I like this idea. Forces you to perhaps check out authors you may have not read before. Will have to give this some thought.

Now, a kicker would be if you managed to END the train with the same letter you BEGAN it with, to complete the circle, but I found this one hard enough to put together without that!

I didn't even see the part about the author's last name and first name starting with the same letter. Yowza! That's tough.

Definitely requires some planning.

I'm in, the things that makes it a bit more manageable is that it doesn't have a timeline so I don't have to rush.
