When you click "create a list" in listopia, it brings you to a page that has three about lists points, one of which is "If a "Best Fantasy Books" list already exists - no need to create another - it will be merged eventually anyways."
My question is how do said lists get merged and what is the criteria for merging the lists? I ask because it seems to me that there are lots of lists that deal with the same thing but don't seem to get merged. For instance, I frequently check several lists that have to do with Christian Fantasy. One of them is titled, "Christian Fantasy" (http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/33...) another titled "Best Christian Fantasy Books" (http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/42...), and finally two that are named "Best Christian Adventure/Fantasy" (http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/68...) and "Best Christian Sci-Fi Fantasy" (http://www.goodreads.com/list/show/19...). The only difference between the first two is the wording of the title, but the next two add a second qualifier (Adventure and Science Fiction). Would the first two be a candidate to be merged, and how do lists get merged anyway?
