The daffa dillies are in bloom again. Such a strange flower, suitable to any occasion...

Looked out the door and saw the the yellow of wild daffodils at the wood's edge. Ah! Spring, when an old man's heart turns to love.

I need a saccharine romance to read, as the sap needs a kick-start these days. Suggestions...?

Tom | 95 comments Sigh...a bit longer up here until we see the daffodils and other signs of spring.

There's a bittersweet book by a Canadian author that's a quick read for a mild spring afternoon, if you can find it, called You Went Away I remember enjoying it. Gay author, though straight characters.

A June bride! Congrats!

SpritetheRight | 2 comments I have orange blossums surrounding my house. We don't really have a spring. I have been wearing shorts for a month now.

Wow - as cold as the Boston snow!

Julia | 271 comments We're still aways from daffodils and irises, but the crocuses, even surrounded by snow, are coming up! Congrats Mike!

It's rained for two weeks in Boise and the sky is this miserable white-gray color that is the very absence of blue. I'm ready to get in my pickup truck and start driving. south. or west.

Congrats, Mike! There's lots of snow at my place. Still waiting for Matt to come over and shovel like he promised. ;)

It was a great time! I even got to see one of my kids, 4 of my grandkids and my ex-wife (a good friend since 9th grade). Thank you.

The aroma of soybeans was wafting strongly... for others it is hard to describe the nose of the Soybean Capital of the World.

Back on topic—The forsythia is in bloom and the dogwoods budding...
