So when my sister was little, so probably fifteen years ago, we had this picture book which I could have sworn was called Boodle My Dog, but I have scoured the internet, and not found any sign of it at all. A really cute book about the narrator's bull terrier.

It came up recently when I was reading aloud Princess Penelope and wanted to call her dog Boodle. But then when I was posting on my blog about it (http://shorteasywordsreviews.blogspot...) is when I discovered the book to be missing from time.

Do I misremember the title? Any help would be much appreciated!

Gosh, Emma, I remember seeing that book in a Borders where I worked in 1993 (it was the favorite of a dog-loving co-worker), and I remember it as Boodle, my Dog, but there are really no books that show up in any searches (I've just done a lot) with that title. How weird! Perhaps the actual title is an odd spelling of something that would be pronounced Boodle, but I also tried lots of variations with no luck.

Sorry I can do no more than confirm the book did exist.

All I used was narrators dog and boodle and voila there it was. Glad it helped the book does look cute!
