Lynn Alan Heath (papa2four) | 5 comments Here is the problem:
I have the following:
Holy Bible New International Version
sub-title=Young Discoverer's Bible
Hardcover, 1940 pages
pub 1985 by Zondervan
***ISBN 0310923190 (LOC cat card #73-174297)

An ISBN search brings up these results:
Holy Bible: NIV Worship Bible, Large Print
Hardcover, 1984 pages
Published April 1st 1994 by Zondervan
How do I enter my particular NIV?

The page numbering on the one listed was wrong, and the cover didn't make any sense either (it showed a three-volume set). I fixed both of those. If it's still not the same as what you have (other than pub date, which just means yours is a reprint), you can create an alternate cover edition.

Lynn Alan Heath (papa2four) | 5 comments Sorry rivka, but what I have and what everything I have checked regarding this ISBN are not the same. The only thing in common is that they are both NIV. This ISBN is everywhere listed as belonging to a 'Large Print' Bible. The NIV I have is not 'Large Print' yet the back of the Bible has the ISBN 0310923190 which corresponds to (according to internet sources) The Large Print NIV Bible.
Would a non-large print be considered the same item?
Are ISBNs ever reused?

Sandra | 31414 comments Lynn, ISBNs are often reused, for the same title and also for other titles.

Jonathon (jonp) | 146 comments Lynn,
Check the copyright page and see if the ISBN is different than the back cover. I have one book (1st printing) with 3 different ISBN numbers (Back Cover, Spine, and Copyright page) and only the Copyright page is correct. The other 2 ISBNs belong to other books.

Sometimes. Which is why I gave you the directions for creating an alternate-cover edition.
