Good YA Series discussion

I love Vampire Academy and I agree with Ashley it is one of the best vampire series out there.

I LOVE VAMPIRE ACADEMY!!! It is sssuuuucchh a great book, the whole series is awesome!! I'll admit I read frostbite before I read the first one, but I was imidiatley hooked I read it one one day. I actually read the hole book while hanging out at wild rivers the book was so goood I chose the book over water...and I love water!! That say rigt there how good the book is, cuz I am a natural born swimmer...lol

I really liked this series, it hooked me and didn't drag at all. Then only thing that bothered me was the Dmitri character after the change...it was a bit much.

Why I love the series
1. Rose is kick ass, independent and awesome
2. Dimitri doesn't treat Rose like she's something made up of glass. He lets her learn.
3. Dimitri is hot
4. Yes the main characters are teens, they act like teens but they have this bravery and sense of responsibility.
5. The whole Lissa and Rose BFF thing was awesome. Girlfriends gotta stick together even if they are not always with each other.
6. Rose does not fall apart even if Dimitri is not with her. She knows what to do without being told
7. The action scenes are cool
8. Rose is well loved even if she tends to be bitchy
9. It is pretty funny. :))

I've considered reading this book multiple times but discarded the idea the series has too many books but I guess I'll have to consider it again,, best vampire series you say...??

Its an easy read, kinda short and definitely one of the best YAs around :)

Crystel, You have it spot on. Definitely one of the better example of YA out there. The characters have depth and personality you can relate to, the writing is very easy to loose yourself in. I picked up the first book in the series to read a few chapters, completely lost 2 hours and went to the library to mug a teenager for the second book in the series. Highly recommended.

The best part of the books, was Rose's strength and power, as well as her love for Dimitri and her friends. I'm not a vampire-book lover, but this book is great!

Loved it, cried like a baby

Loved the books! Read them in a month! I also read the Bloodlines series in a month! I was an emotional rollercoaster when I read them

Just started but completely in love all the way through, five stars, AMAZING!!!
