I am shoveling mud in the rain with Reynolds' 'Revelation Space" this after reading the SPECTACULAR 'Forever War'. My student lent me the 3 books, so it is mostly a guilt read, wondering if I should continue...

I liked The Prefect better. I guess give it 100 pages or 33%? But then when you're channel surfing on tv, how long do you give a show before you move onto something else?

I stuck with it. One thing I will say for it. I am reading it voraciously but for the life of me, I cannot figure out why. I presume it is the way he set up the book that just keeps you reading and reading.
