We will help you put together your reading schedule and then you are good to go. Send Bentley a PM.

Is this where i sign up to be part of the read for the Suki Kim book starting 10/15/2017?

I plan on reading it in Dec. Anyone want to buddy-read it with me?

Thanks!
Anthony, Bentley will be rescheduling the buddy read of Ulysses later in the year. We look forward to your participation.

Michael I just saw your note - how was your trip?

I did that in Singapore - one uncomfortable bumpy bony feeling ride (lol).
Where did you go in Northern India?
Where did you go in Northern India?

November 6,2017 Gangtok, Sikkim (Near Nepal), Alipurdura, Makrapara (near Bhutan) and here stayed in Jungle hotel (where we rode the elephant) and Kolkota. These are most the places we visited not necessarily in order.
At one point it looked like I might have an overnight layover at JFK and gave serious thought to seeing if you would have time for a coffee and book discussion. :-) I ended up with only a couple of hours of layover in New York.
The Dalai Lama's compound sounded interesting. The other places sounded terrific as well. What a trip - was it for business or pleasure or both?
I would have loved to meet up with you in NYC if I was around - but it sounds like you had a tight flight and layover schedule.

Yeah my travel agent managed to shorten my lay overs. Sometime when I am transiting through New York I plan to take some time and see at least something of the city.
I may be going back to Sikkim and Nepal in 2019 but have to see what the funds look like.

Hello Michael,
I am glad you decided to visit India. Was this your first Indian trip? I am asking this because I was surprised when I read the names of places you had visited. You visited the north and north-east areas. Generally, most of the foreigners visit Delhi-Jaipur-Agra (also called the golden triangle) but you boldly chose to visit the lesser known northeastern states like Nagaland & Sikkim. Even I, as an Indian haven't ever been there. How was your experience? I am sure you may have been surprised at the diversity and difference of cultures between different states like Delhi and Nagaland etc.

[book..." Hey I am interested for Ulysses by James Joyce when is it starting?

Hello, Rohit, this was my second visit to India. On the first trip we spent quite a lot of time in Delhi and saw many of the sites there which are fascinating. India has a very rich and diverse history. This trip was based on visiting with friends in various areas and even making some new friends. I very much enjoy the northern part of India but I probably do not fit the typical tourist mode. I always come back with tons of pictures. I am also always open to suggestions for the next trip. I still want to do the "tea train" trip and perhaps a regular passenger rail trip across India.
