I do remember my brother throwing me into a plate glass window when I was 19 because I was picking at him for something. No clue what I even said now, but it must have been pretty bad.

It was horrible and I still feel sad about it.
I also got drunk one time and mentioned something about her freshman fifteen. I was a giant bitch to her.
Now we're super good friends... I'm glad for that.

She told Father Ev that she had once pushed her little sister into the cat's litter box. Father Ev tried really, really hard not to laugh. Mostly the girls get along well these days.

My brothers and I fought like cats and dogs up until we were about fourteen or so. My mother used to just push us out the door and lock it when we'd start brawling. We all bear scars from the beatings we took from each other.
The meanest thing I ever did to my brothers was set all their alarm clocks off on the day 3 of them had their SATs, back when I was in middle school.

Besides, I was usually busy being mean to my Mom. SORRY, Mom, I was a real twat.

My brothers and I are all pretty close in age, so we could beat the snot out of each other without feeling guilty...

oh, and I think I was the reason for a break up, but that was naivety too! A girl called and asked for my brother. I forget the names, but I said something like, "Sharice is on the phone!" And I hear the girl on the phone yell, "Sharice! This is Karen!" So when my brother got the phone, I heard a lot of "baby, baby, wait wait wait, hold up! Naw, it ain't like that!" from his end.

Helena I had no idea how mean I was to Mom until my own two kids arrived on the scene. Hoo Boy.

That's funny, but not your fault. Who leaves a comic book out with a toddler around? And it's not your fault he was a playah.

Ouch.

Mine’s only four... I’m afraid. My mother cursed me with three just like me (which is why I stopped at one). I guess my mom’s lucky- my brothers took the brunt of it!

I got kicked there once at work by someone with boots on. The most unpleasant kick I’ve ever experienced. I feel sick thinking about it.

This was after putting up with 15 years of being hit, kicked, spit on, chased and hit with bats, etc. He deserved it, the cops even agreed with me. :)
He never hit or threatened me again, so it was also totally worth it.

I also told her our parents had had a child named Frieda who died. I'd pretend to collapse and be "possessed" by Frieda and make up all these stories to tell her about my life. When asked, my mother would deny it all, but of course, she would. It was just too painful to talk about, don't you see?

I also told her..."
Good Grief! How is your sister today? My brothers weren't smart enough to mess with that way. We just beat each other up.
It's a wonder that some of us made it out of childhood.
What mean thing haven't I done to my sister? Like pouring vinegar in her Coke, engaging in various fist-fights, and stealing her drugs (girl loved taking Mescaline, and, eventually, so did I). Oh, and I punched her in her tits once. She deserved it.
Actually, it was a mutual thing. There was plenty of mean shit she pulled on me, so an eye for an eye, I say. If you ask her, she probably did more mean shit to me than I did her. She tried to poke my eyes out when I was about 1 year old, so there's a start.
We get along great now. Funny how the years make you look back at these moments with laughter.

My sister came home loaded one Friday night during high school and I hid her car a couple blocks away so she thought it had been stolen.
I stopped her just short of calling the cops.

Me + you... CAGE MATCH! :)

WOW

My sister is 7 years younger than me and I would tease her about her buck teeth. It seems innocuous writing it here, but she mentioned it a few years ago, so obviously it was something hurtful.
I had to babysit her and one night she wouldn't go to sleep. I stood in the doorway and screamed at her, then slammed the door shut. I neglected to move out of the doorway and gave myself a nasty bump on the forehead. She still remembers that too.

Heiderson, have you seen the video of the flash mob freezing in place at Grand Central? You should send that to your sister!

I'm an only child and I always thought that was a bad thing until I read this message!

Bring it, Phil! :)

Nooo... where is it?! I'm intrigued.

Well...trying to think of anything possibly resulting from that...she is rather underconfident. She's the kind that has a really hard time making a decision and asks your opinion repeatedly. I guess I could have really undermined her belief in her ability to make decisons, but after all that, why would she ask me??

My mother blames me for my brother’s neuroses. Yeah, well I have a cauliflower ear. At least his scars are invisible.
I’m sure we had nothing to do with our sibling’s neuroses. Almost sure.
The meanest thing I tried to do to a sibling was as follows: Me and two of my sisters were supposed to be cleaning the house. My younger sister refused to help out, so my older sister held her down while I tried to pour caster oil down her throat (my Grandmothers cure for everything). Unfortunately we were not successful. She dobbed us in of course. We both copped a hiding and had to clean by ourselves. There was never any really justice in our house. >:[

I posted it on FB sort of as a public admission of guilt and apology... but also to trigger a PTSD reaction. She hasn't responded yet, but all my childhood friends have. :)

"Dobbed us in" = sang like a canary?
"Copped a hiding" = a parental beatdown?

I dunno, probably since both her profile and mine is private. But it DID make me laugh all day yesterday... just sayin' :)

I'm sorry for all those times we played STATUES, Brookie. It probably wasn't very nice. It was pretty funny at the time, though. :)

Jeannie replied: "What's funny is Evan is doing it and I didn't even teach him! Gosh, u have a good memory! Totally forgot about that!!!!"
Amy posted: "Love it! Seen it! Tried to get a freeze going in Lafayette...but no luck!"
And a friend living in Germany "liked" it. :)
Sister still isn't acknowledging it. It's like her own personal game of STATUES with me to get back at me... but I'm on to her!
