About the book:

Wealthy playboy Brett Sheridan thinks he knows the score when he hires tough guy private eye Neil Patrick Rafferty to find a priceless stolen folio of Shakespeare's The Tempest.

Brett's convinced his partner-in-crime sister is behind the theft -- a theft that's liable to bring more scandal to their eccentric family, and cost Brett his marriage to society heiress Juliet Lennox. What Brett doesn't count on is the instant and powerful attraction that flares between him and Rafferty.

Once before, Brett took a chance on loving a man, only to find himself betrayed and broken. This time around there's too much at risk.

But as the Bard himself would say, "Journeys end in lovers meeting."

Laura, thank you. I skimmed through the blurb on Josh's site (I prefer not to read blurbs at all, sometimes they contain spoilers) and didn't get impression it might be fantasy, just wanted to make sure.
The blurb of "The Dark Farewell" doesn't sound like the book is paranormal but in fact it is :)

Does LooseId release right away on Amazon, or do they hold their books back for a while? I've got a little stockpile of Amazon gift cards, and I'm trying to use those instead of cash whenever possible.

Becky, I have the same question. I use my Amazon gift cards/certificates to pay for my books as well, so I'd like to know when they'll have this on Amazon.

I am not sure, but from experience with other authors who release through LooseId, I've had to wait for a bit before the books are available on Amazon. I'll ask the peeps at LooseId...

sometimes loose never release their books anywhere else... they are my least favorite publisher and i really hope they release it at toher places because i do not want to buy anything from their website

I agree with Dane, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting to buy this book on Amazon or anywhere else but LI.

Yeah I sent an inquiry to ask if it would be available elsewhere after release...haven't heard back :O(

Mum's the word was a pretty common expression. But then again, I'm ancient compared to you. I tested it on my son & he had no clue what I was talking about.

I am an ESL reader. I read so many slangs from various countries and era sometimes I don't know which come from what anymore. lol.

I'm not sure I remember being 24 anymore. But then, I'm not sure I remember what I had for breakfast this morning, either. But I know my early to mid-twenties were fairly high drama, so there's probably a good reason why I don't remember.

I spent a lot of time with my grandparents as a kid, so I picked up a lot of slang that you don't hear much anymore.
