Julie *-* (ladymamaj) | 98 comments I've read so many of the PNR books that I no longer know what to read. I could give a list of the ones that I have read but it would take me a long time. I thought it would be easier to just tell you if I have or have not read the books you recommend.

Mt favorite series are the B.D.B.'s, the Night huntress (love cat&bones, Demonica, I.A.D. and many more...

I guess what I am asking is what are your favorite series and why? That might help me choose what I should read next.

ஐAndreaஐ (rosesrrblue) | 707 comments Hi Julie!

Night Huntress is my favorite too. Bones is amazing, cat is bad ass, there is a lot of action and the story has a great pace, I'm never bored.

Two series that I didn't see on your list that are really good are:

Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires, #1) by Chloe Neill Friday Night Bites (Chicagoland Vampires, #2) by Chloe Neill Twice Bitten (Chicagoland Vampires, #3) by Chloe Neill Hard Bitten (Chicagoland Vampires, #4) by Chloe Neill

Storm Born (Dark Swan, #1) by Richelle Mead Thorn Queen (Dark Swan, #2) by Richelle Mead Iron Crowned (Dark Swan, #3) by Richelle Mead

both of these series have kick ass heroins, hot leading men and are great stories.

message 3: by Laura (new)

Laura Carson (laurarcarson) Have you read the Fever series?

message 4: by QuotetheRaven (new)

QuotetheRaven | 8 comments I love night huntress! I really don't have any to recommend but I hear the "Kitty Norville" and "Chicagoland Vampires" series are really good.

message 5: by ஐAndreaஐ (new)

ஐAndreaஐ (rosesrrblue) | 707 comments OOh, the Fever Series is awesome too!

message 6: by Sondrae (new)

Sondrae Bennett | 32 comments I second the Fever series. Also love Patricia Briggs Alpha and Omega (Mercy Thompson is on my list but I haven't read any yet so I can't speak to those).
Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning Alpha & Omega A Companion Novella to Cry Wolf (Alpha & Omega, Prequel) by Patricia Briggs

My favorite series is Shelly Laurenston's Pride series. If you haven't read those, I highly recommend them.
The Mane Event (Pride, #1) by Shelly Laurenston

QuotetheRaven | 8 comments I heard "Alpha and Omega" is really good.

Mlpmom (Book Reviewer) (mlpmombookreviewer) | 839 comments Chicagoland Vampire series rocks. It is a great series!

You have already read Cat and Bones, have you read the spin off series at all? They are good, not as good as the original but you do get an inside look into some of the characters of the Night Huntress Series.

The Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs is great too. She has another series that I have heard great things about but I haven't read them yet.

I really love them. The only complaint I have is the amount of time between books. Ms. Briggs concentrates more on the Mercy series, so new Alpha and Omega often gets pushed back. The third book was supposed to be out by now but the release day got pushed back twice already and now is scheduled for early 2012. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this release date sticks.

Sarah Remy (sarahremy) | 17 comments I second Mercy Thompson. She's a lot of fun.

Lynz | 86 comments So I know these are sci-fi recommendations but sometimes you need a little change; especially if you've been reading PNR over and over (been there, done that, had to venture out into a new genre)! ;)

Anyways, these books were a great new experience for me when I was desperate for that intense book-love feeling. Neither of them are intense sci-fi so you might like them!

CAT-STAR CHRONICLES - LOVE THESE BOOKS - SLAVE is my FAV!!! Think about a handsome man with cat features that purrs when you hit all the right buttons (and he has snard - you'll have to read the book to find out what this is)!

Slave (Cat Star Chronicles, #1) by Cheryl Brooks Warrior (Cat Star Chronicles, #2) by Cheryl Brooks Rogue (Cat Star Chronicles, #3) by Cheryl Brooks Outcast (Cat Star Chronicles, #4) by Cheryl Brooks Fugitive (Cat Star Chronicles, #5) by Cheryl Brooks Hero (Cat Star Chronicles, #6) by Cheryl Brooks

Katherine "Kitty" Katt Series - Think Men in Black meet the Rachel Morgan series! There are tons of fine men running around and lots of action!

Touched by an Alien (Katherine "Kitty" Katt, #1) by Gini Koch Alien Tango (Katherine "Kitty" Katt, #2) by Gini Koch Alien in the Family (Katherine "Kitty" Katt, #3) by Gini Koch

I've read the Mercy Thompson series and the Alpha and Omega series. They were awesome.

I haven't read the Pride series yet but I have read the Magnus pack series. I read all three books in two days. lol. I just couldn't put them down. I think I might pick up the Pride series next. I'm just finishing the Demonica series now. SO GOOD! lol.

I added the Cat-Star to my list. They look interesting. I had never heard of them b4. I keep trying to get my hubby to purr for me... he won't! lol. maybe these books will give me hints on where to rub! *giggles.

In my opinion, the Pride series is even better than the Magnus pack series. The characters are a bit more likable without losing the quirky craziness that makes them so different. But I did love both series.

You might try Awaken the Highland Warrior. A treasure seeking historian finds a 19th century Scottish warrior buried in a crypt, but the warrior isn't dead. He's just been sleeping for 150 years. It's just been released and I have several reviewers comparing it to Karen Marie Moning's books, which puts me in awe. Just a suggestion.
