Silvia (silverware) | 24 comments I'm at a blank for downloading songs, so I was wondering what are your top three all time favourite songs?

Mine are:

Lady Madonna: The Beatles
Donde Estan Corazon: Enrique Iglesias
Kanye West and Chris Martin: Homecoming

I know a bit random and all a bit different but Im a sucker for The Beatles, spanish music, and rap!

So what do you like?

message 2: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) | 467 comments Ooooh, ok fun! :) lady madonna is fan-tas-tic! You're cracking me up, Silvia! Do you listen to Gnarls Barkley? They're awesome and fun.

I have ONE all time favorite song, and the other two are just my current runners up. :)

My all time favorite song is:
Here Comes the Sun by George Harrison. It's on the Abbey Road album. But Richie Havens does a version that is soooooo beautiful, I cry!

Two others that I dig right now:
Last Night it Snowed by the Ass Ponys
Fuck You by Harry Nilsson

message 3: by Silvia (new)

Silvia (silverware) | 24 comments AAA! I love Here Comes the Sun. I set my alarm to wake me up to that song in the morning! Gnarls Barkley can be lots of fun! Ill check out your other songs :D

message 4: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) | 467 comments Gnarls Barkley's Blind Mary is just soooo freaking sweet. Makes me think that there really might be nice guys out there somewhere.

message 5: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) | 467 comments I'm intrigued that you like Spanish music. In my quest to learn Spanish, I'm thinking that I need to listen to some Spanish music. I have an online "boyfriend" who is from the Dominican Republic and he sends me you tube links to spanish music all the time. Thank god there are pictures--it makes it funnier, especially since I can't understand any of the words. :)

message 6: by Spencer (new)

Spencer (spencerafreeman) | 143 comments I LOVE spanish music! Sylvia, what type do you listen to?
Ever since going to college in Miami, I have become addicted to reggaeton... If you're into that, I could give you OODLES of suggestions because my itunes is filled with it! I also have other variations from tango, bachata, etc...
Cool to know someone else is into spanish music. Let me know!

That is the hardest question in the world!

I don't think I could answer that it changes daily.

The songs that I always love regardless of how many times I hear it is
Brown Eyed Girl Van Morrison
Fields of Gold Sting

My current fav song is

John Mayer doing Free Falling

message 8: by Robyn (new)

Robyn (roxy_nj) | 354 comments [jumping up & down] YAY, Tera!! I looove Van Morrison. He's one of my all time fave artists.

Tis a hard question, selecting just three but here are the three that popped into my head upon reading the question.
- Into The Mystic by Van Morrison
- Uncle John's Band by The Grateful Dead
- Back in Black or You Shook Me by ACDC

message 9: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) | 467 comments Yeah, there is something about Van Morrison that just makes ya smile, even if his song is sad. :)

message 10: by Spencer (new)

Spencer (spencerafreeman) | 143 comments Its really hard trying to pick just 3, but a few of my top songs are

2. Dile- Don Omar
3. Secret- Maroon 5

Someone Youmayknow (momar13) Van Morrison YAY!!!
But it's "Moon Dance" all the way for me
next
is "Sultans of Swing" by Dire Straits
then

"Crazy in Love" by Beyonce

Oh so random I know.

but you wanted the 3 ALL time faves.

Amanda, I can't find that Harry Nilsson song, and I do like him. I did go and find that song by the Ass Ponys since their name intrigued me and it is a good one. My boyfriend had heard of them.

Stacy-Deanne Stacy-Deanne (wwwgoodreadscomstacydeanne) | 14 comments 1. Rock With You- Michael Jackson
2. Papa Don't Preach- Madonna
3. My Endless Love- Diana Ross and Lionel Ritchie

I am a music lover so there's many more but these are three of my favorites.

I wanted to add Adam Raised a Caine by Springsteen but didn't want to break the rules, LOL. One of my favs!

message 21: by Holli (last edited Sep 20, 2008 08:24AM) (new)

Holli Wow you guys.....great songs have been mentioned. I have to say that Brown Eyed Girl can always make me smile and think back to when I was 21 and this little bar used to play it at least once during the night and a certain guy used to sing it to me. And change it to Green Eyed Girl. Mad About You by Belinda Carlisle gives me the same smile (same guy!) LOL

I too have loved the Beatles most of my life and Don't Let Me Down is my fave. "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas in that "older" genre reminds me of my mom when I was about 2 or 3. She used to sing it to me.

My top 3 faves.....

Don't Dream Its Over by Crowded House

Wild Horses by the Rolling Stones

Right To Be Wrong by Joss Stone

message 22: by Someone (new)

Someone Youmayknow (momar13) Tera, I agree Van Morrison does = musical perfection.
