Ashten (coddiwomple) Excuse me? Um is this group open for teens also? Are the books appropriate?

I'm pretty sure that the group is open to teens. If it were restricted you would have had to click on something certifying that you were 18 or older.

As to appropriateness of the books? Here's the complete list: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?k...

I don't know how to answer whether a book is appropriate for a teen. I have kids and my standard has always been that (excluding something pornographic- no redeeming value) if my kids want to read something and are able to read it, then they're allowed to read it. My policy has always been that there aren't really inappropriate books for my kids only inappropriate ways to handle reading controversial materials. If you know that your parents would object to certain things, then by all means you should take them the list of books and ask for their permission and let them decide.

~Calyre~ | 103 comments Well, I try to read a book in a week when it's not a big book (1000+ pages). Sometimes I read a book in a day or two.

Ira Bespalova (irasky) One day I can read nothing and the other day I may read the whole book..It all depends.)

Elizabeth (Alaska) I try to read about 75 pages a day. Some days I don't get there, some days it's a lot more.
