Wow, I decided to do the reading this morning for this week, and I just couldn't stop!! The end of Ch 9 just begs you to continue, and from there it doesn't get any easier. So be prepared, and don't start at bedtime if you have next day commitments and willpower issues...
And now I have to go do all the stuff I should have been doing today, so I will comment later, but love this book!

Gabriella (stardust_126) | 131 comments I loved this book very much. It teaches you that forgiveness can heal a whole lot of pain. There is just one thing that confuses me a little bit in the book. One of the times when the nazis went to Corrie`s house to make sure there were no Jews hiding, her nieces and nephews were scrambling to hide from them. Why?

I know that it is way after the fact but I can't help but leave a question unanswered (I am just now finding time to read the posts). The nieces and nephews were hiding becasue of two reasons....it was past curfew and if they were found at night in the wrong house there would be trouble, or because they were making all the guys go to the labor camp thing and they were dogeing the draft. (Its been a while since I listened to the book but it still has left an impact on my outlook of life.
