B&N Nook Color & Tablet Users discussion

Has anyone been able to get Youtube videos to play? I saw that Youtube was a default link for the browser, but I have yet to be able to play anything in neither mobile nor desktop settings. Did I miss a setting somewhere or could my NC be broken?

I am able to see Youtube videos with either desktop or mobile browser settings. Have you checked to make sure you are running 1.2.0 firmware under settings->Device info->About your NOOKcolor?

Yep. Running the latest. Youtube hasn't worked for me in neither firmware.

So I tried again this morning. This time I was able to run Youtube and Vimeo videos using their desktop pages. Still no luck with mobile versions of those sites. Weird...

Kat, I tried to access Youtube videos through the bookmarked mobile site and it didn't work. Maybe this is a bug they need to work out.

I have never been able to view videos from YouTube on my Nook Color. Get an error message. Not why I bought the Nook, so I didnt mind, but if there's a bookmark, thought I'd try it. No go!
