Ha, I wish I could live in a German-speaking country for a year :P I have a German exchange coming up soon but that's not the same. I love German & I know a little Dutch (thanks to Rebecca @ Read Those Books) :P Anyway, why am I wittering on about languages? Perhaps I'm just saying I'm glad you speak English (and Canadian English is close- more than American- to British).

The reason I started blogging in both languages is that a lot of ppl in my family don't speak/read English for example my hubby and I would like for them to be able to read it aswell so I though what the heck im doing bilingual.. lol

Yes they are!! I can get that but I find I get distracted if I try to read and listen to music. I do listen while I review though. :)

I don't listen to music while Im reading either, mostly I hear a song on my laptop/radio come by and think hey that fits this or that book..

I am also a goodreads author and I have finally (finally!)got my debut up on Kindle and Smashwords. Far Out is science fiction for teens (and grown-ups) about Saffron, a 17-year-old with russet hair, who has to make the best of life in dystopian 22nd Century Britain.

SF, techno and dystopian are my fave genres, but I also love vampire, especially classic vampire like Anne Rice, and classic horror like Stephen King and James Herbert. I will read all sorts of other stuff, too, from chic lit to mystery to supernatural.

It's good to meet you all. I have a pile of books to read (physical and eBooks) as high as a house and I am also finalising the second novel and starting the third.Fiona Faith Ross

Brill! Thank you, Char. I have to say, all credit goes to my cover designer. Although I gave her a clear brief that I wanted a portrait of Saffron, she read the book and then she came up with this design. I have to say, I was thrilled with her interpretation and she has made a beautiful cover for Saffy, with the flowers and the space junk.

Hello Everyone! Happy Saturday!

While I have been blogging on Blogger for a few years now, I just began my new book blog this past week http://authorgirlie.blogspot.com/. It is part author blog, part reader blog.

I am an avid fantasy reader; Goodkind, Rawn, Wies/Hickman, Eddings, oh I could go on for days. I guess that is what happens when your mother reads you Tolkien and Pearl S. Buck (editing out the saucy parts of course) instead of Goodnight Moon during your childhood :-P

I just release my debut novel, The Pull, through Smashwords (which I am SUPER EXCITED about!) and hope to use my new blog as a way to connect with readers and other authors.
