Rolled a 3: The Protector of the Small and read Emma's War by Deborah Scroggins.
It is written by a woman and also features a strong female heroine. Emma of the title is an unusual human rights worker who marries a warlord and continues to stand up for what she believes in no matter the obstacles in her way. This was not always for the better, but Emma was certainly strong.

This non-fiction book makes me happy because it is about family, this man's family and a love letter to his father in particular.
