"Hot Days of Summer" Challenge

For those of us doing the Cat Connect 4, this could be a big commitment (2 books/week basically) but I made this flexible so you can ‘overlap’ books as often as possible.
Welcome to all of you that are crazy enough to participate and keep me company!

Thanks! I can see why you do this, it is tons of fun. I can't remember who it was (Sandra or Judithe?) that commented on HAWT guys. Then I made some smart crack about you making a challenge about it. Of course, I then realized that I would have liked to do something like that, but you would be slammed with CC4. What to do? Well any good friend would just help you out then, huh? :) I really did it for you Steph!!!
...Dana says as she pulls out the deed to that bridge she needs to sell.

This is a learn as you go for me. i.e., note to self, reserve a post at the top for 'extras'. Glad I felt the need to babble...I can use that. ;)
Perhaps you Mods should get together and write a 'Challenge Creation and Posting for Dummies' book? I woulda bought it!
I made a few updated notes on Post 1 since I forgot to consider them previously. Art=work in progress. :)

No, not really. You can make your list and add your books whenever you like. I just meant don't repost your whole challenge list over and over every week since they take up lots o' space. I've seen you and others indicate as much. I think I should go cut and paste your phrasing on that. :)
More like...
For week #3 I will read

Then you can just add the choice to your original post to update it. Does that make sense? Like new posts for your 'what I am up to now' info, and updating your original post for recordkeeping.
It's really no big deal either way honestly. It just seems like it might be a lot to scroll through after a couple of weeks of reposting our 'master lists'. Do you think so?
***If anyone out there understands my babble and knows where to find this same info written in 'Steph-ese', let me know where to find it please!***

Besides, you know when I say 20, I mean around 32 or something. :) If I just keep telling my brain that we are only doing 20, perhaps it won't know the difference and feel the need to take time out to have that nervous breakdown that I keep meaning to schedule. My hope springs eternal.

**UPDATE**
Since this challenge will generate weekly updates and that could make a mess if many people participate, let's do things this way...
1) As the weeks pass, generate new posts to indicate your weekly choices.
2) Please update your original post with your 'books completed' instead of reposting your progress for the whole challenge.
*If anyone reviews their book, please throw in a link to your rate/review in your updates please! I put a lot of weight on the opinions of my fellow SOS'ers when making choices for my reads. You all are brilliant after all. :)
