Goodreads Librarians Group discussion

Hi everyone,

I'm a newby Goodreads librarian and I'm ashamned to say that I'm already struggling.
I decided to start organizing things by putting together my own work on my Goodreads author page.

I have a kindle edition book which is already on my author profile, but I can't add the paperback version to it. When I click "combine editions" only one of them appears on the screen and not both, so I can't combine them....

Could anyone give a hand with this?
I would really like to know HOW to do it and not to just get it fixed.

Don't be ashamed to ask questions. :)

To combine editions, they must have the authors listed exactly the same. If you edit this duplicate author page to remove the space between the initials, it should then offer you a choice of the two profiles -- keep yours, not the duplicate. Then both editions should show up on the combine page.

Let me know if any of that is unclear or if it gives you any trouble.

Such a simple solution! You've got to have good eyes to spot that!! :-D

It helps to have been doing this for about 3 years, too. ;)

I noticed that while both editions were now showing up as yours, they were not combined, so I did that.
