For this challenge, challenge yourself to choose book from around the world. Pick different counties as a "visit" and read a book from that country you have chosen.

Your trip can consist of countries all off the same continent, or you can bounce around the world like a traveler!

Rules:
Choose a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 books from different countries .

Is there an ending date for this one?

Does the book have to be set in the country or can it be by an author born in the country? Can we mix& match setting & author on our trip or do we choose either all settings or all authors?

The ending is up to you. You pick the amount of books you want as the "trip"

I would say based out of the country. Authors from that country

I'll participate...not sure how well I'll do!

I'll participate, too. I think I'll try for 10 Countries and do this Challenge until the end of the year. I'll post a list of my countries in the next day or two.

I like the series a lot. I'm hoping to get to the third one either this challenge or in winter. I like listening to them so that everything is pronounced for me;)

Good to hear! I liked the plot of the first one, but it didn't develop the characters very much in my opinion--except for Kurt. I hope that as I read on, more of the characters will come to life. I should be starting the second one early this week!

cool! I have already read 7 of them...I have like 5 more that I found!

I've finished the trip around the world...but I have a couple extra books that I am reading to it. I will have them finished also by the deadline.. :)

thanks.....I'm still travelling though!!! in Peru and Caribbean(where I have not completed my trip, and India and China where I have already been....) Empress Orchid is a nice story and it brings The Forbidden City to life...but it's not as real as being there in person!! likewise with some of the places in India..Pondicherry...I have great memories(and photos)!!

Just need to get through Peru!!! then I'm home again!! :)
