Has everyone read the between the numbers books?
Thoughts? Didn't know if I should give Stephanie a rest since I have read all 17 books pretty much in the past 17 days. I have several other series that I have been recommended to me; however, not sure if I should stick with Steph or move on!

I love the Diesel books! I highly recommend them. Not everyone likes them, but some of the events of the series happens in the In-Between series - esp. Plum Spooky - which are mentioned in the numbered series. A part of me wishes she would consider Diesel as her romantic partner, but I think they do well as friends.

The between the numbers books should be read as they were written between the plum series. Some of them interact with the novels....

I hate to read out of order.... sorry!

I love them... though so I say read them. You will understand what I am saying when you read the first one called Sugar Plums as this is the first time her sister and nieces show up.

Valerie & the girls are first introduced in book 7, when they come back to Trenton. Valerie (and Steph!) meet Kloughn in book 8. In "Sugar Plums", Valerie finds out that she's pregnant by Kloughn.

It's a cute story and is touched on in book 9 in the beginning by Grandma Mazur when she wants Steph to open the bathroom door.

Sugar Plums is between book 7 and 8 and later on in the series she finds out about being pregnant. Maybe in 8..... but I think later

sister and the nieces show up in sugar plums. Mentioned in a prior book but never seen until this inbetween. this is the first time we meet the horse lovin neice and Diesel!!! Whoohooo!

Sorry, Magpie - read books 7 & 8 again. Valerie and her daughters are first introduced in book 7. "Sugarplums" was the 3rd book they were mentioned. Yes, they had more story line in "Sugarplums", but they were not just mentioned in the other books, but had storylines, esp. Valerie.

I will look again.... but I re-read all the way up to book 8 less than a year ago....

I'm kind of obsessed about this series and have read it about 5 times through - all of the books. So, I have it pretty memorized. I have to go back once in awhile and check facts. I'm also reading the series out loud to my husband right now as well as just reading, and we're on book 13. We did the in-between books by audio cd's first, because they are "cleaner" and I didn't have to edit for my teenagers to listen to them.

Well I think all I really cared about was Steph and Ranger in these 2 books anyway.... :o) Yum Yum!
