Hi Folks! This is an impromptu addition to the group read-along schedule. Let's get to reading some more Martin Beck! This reading period is pretty long, so hopefully you'll have time to request it from your library, etc. I'll probably start this tomorrow or Sunday.

It's Sunday, got my book from the library, library lady. I'm on page 12 already. Need to finish another book though.

Well I finished, I'm surprised that Martin Beck took a back role in this episode. Many of the players had more to do, Gunvald Larsson, a big burley guy nobody like's except for Ronn, seemed to get things going. Interpol was Beck's doing.
Seems like Gunvald Larsson has stood out in the last two books. Yes/No

Oonagh | 3 comments I took it as an audio book from the library, only that it wasn't the audio book but a 45-min radio drama version from around 1980.
Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it, no feeling of suspense, I even had difficulty keeping concentrated to the plot.
As all library book volumes are out till mid-September and my disappointment with the radio drama, I'm undecided about buying it now.
