Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill.... what do you think?!?!

I liked it a lot. Think I gave it 5-stars. At least 4.

I read it recently and I loved it too.

I am planing to read this next, after I finish IT.

I gave it four stars and agree with some that it's an OK read but has somewhat of a predictable plot. I probably liked it a lot better before reading Hill's magnificent Horns.

I thought it was excellent, too! A great, fun read.

I'm excited now to read it!! I purchased it without really knowing what it was and decided to ask the experts, (you guys!!), and now hearing all of the great reviews I'm excited to read it! I also found out it's Stephen King's son... AWESOME!

I gave it four stars too. It was very creepy but the lead character isn't a very likable guy unless you like selfish, aging rock-stars ;)

Really loved it. Sorry if this sounds silly, but not only did it appeal to the horror loving side of me, I was pretty taken with the unlikely romance as well.

Oh, and I agree with Tressa, loved Horns. I just finished it tonight. Did you read 20th Century Ghosts?

I did read 20th Century Ghosts and think the stories are fantastic. Can't wait to read his next novel.

Absolutely loved Heart Shaped Box. I still need to read 20th Century Ghosts.

I loved this book. The idea of the 'scribbly' eyes is so creepy!
Horns was brilliant as well.

Both 20'th Century Ghosts and Horns were great reads. A couple of the stories in 20th had me close to tears. I haven't read Stephen King for years, but Hill's writing reminds me of his dad's early stuff, even better.

20th Century Ghosts is terrific. Shows Hill can write both long and short very well.

I loved this book, it was creepy and I just loved it. Then I read 20th Century Ghosts and Horns, and they were awesome too :)

While I liked HSB I liked Horns better.

Tressa, I agree...Horns was excellent!

It is, Charlene. I've read it and listened to it. Love, love, love this book.

The part that got me was when I realised the planning and pre-meditation that had gone into things. Very creepy book indeed.
