Dana (erato) The 2011 Nobel Prize for Physics has been awarded. Who won? Why, the American scientists that figured out that, "No, the universe is not shrinking...it is expanding!"

This growth is powered by 'dark energy'. (I'm fairly certain that this is the force that Luke and Darth keep talking about. C= ) So to celebrate the fact that the universe is no longer going to collapse in on itself, I say we read!

Rules:

Read one book from each of the categories below to complete the challenge.

Challenge duration is 3 months from date of start.

Anthologies allowed.

One re-read allowed.



1) A book with a scientist (or any 'Dr.')
2) A book set in space
3) A book that is 'enormous' (over 500 pages)
4) A book in a series that just 'doesn't seem to end....' or that are published WAY to far apart
5) A book with the word 'star' in the title or a star on the cover
6) A book with the word 'sun' or 'moon' in the title or a picture of either on the cover
7) A book with the word 'dark' in the title or a black cover
8) A book with a picture of 'energy' on the cover (lightning, glow from a magical object, any kind of electrical light, etc.)

Bonus: Book that has a 'celestial' word in the title (i.e. solar, lunar, astral, Venus, universe, sky, space, heavens, Orion, Aquarius, the list goes on forever....)
