That sounds interesting. Quite an undertaking! If I was closer to Indiana, I'd definitely take a closer look! As it is, I'm in Arizona. *sigh*
We'll be more than happy to spread the word about your organization!

I started an organization called Summer Forum for Inquiry + Exchange, which is an alternative residency program focused on interdisciplinary critical discussion and creative exploration surrounding contemporary texts. Our inaugural Summer Forum will be held next summer, July 21-28, in New Harmony, Indiana, the site of two utopian communities from the 19th century.
We are asking for your help in determining the curriculum for next summer's Forum. We want to provide a space for critically examining traditionally institutionalized literary texts (poems, plays, novels, theory and criticism, creative non-fiction) alongside peripheral texts and those resisting disciplinary categorization (pop and genre fiction, music lyrics, transcripts, translated texts, blog entries, government documents, tweets, visual art, etc.). The theme for next summer's Forum is Community, Utopia, and the Individual Subject. If you have text recommendations for our Forum, please submit them through our website, www.summerforum.org, directly to [email protected], or on this message board. Thanks so much!
