It will not take long, but I am determined to keep this group 100% 'clean' and respectable.
I don't know if some of you have seen it, but a member named Kyle was posting unapppropriate posts. As a part of an 'innocent' game or not - I will not allow you to:

1 Be rude to other people
2 Refer to inappropriate subjects (drugs, abuse,) because there are young people - and older - that DO NOT want to discuss s*x, okay?!
3 Swear
4 Curse
5 Make other people feel uncomfortable
6 Stalk or annoy people
7 I am warning you now, any one who disobey those rules will be deleted right away !

Listen, I never meant to do this - delete people - you know, the name of the group is FUN & games - yet I will NOT accept any members like that.

Please, whoever seen this kind of inappropriate behavior in our group - tell me immediately about it by message, Thank you.

I am with you. I unfortunately was the first to open his first posting which I flagged immediately. I do not want to see any of this on my computer.

He was kicked out of the Agatha Christie group for harassing one of the co-moderators in that way and putting a discussion that Agatha Christie's favorite song was "I Like Pubic Hair" or something along those lines. The moderator complained to Goodreads but they wouldn't delete/expel him. He was sending her suggestive messages too just misspelling all the bad words. She's upset enough that she has to take a break. The guy's a pervert pig.

Same here. He put a post in my Warrior cats group about some inappropriate matter that I don't want to mention because it is inappropriate. I blocked him so hopefully he won't join any more of my groups.

I am so glad u said something. Couple of things were not right and one where my comment was copied with an inappropriate one. I wasn't sure how to flag anything.

Hi everyone! I am the person who was co-mod with Carolyn F. I have sent this thread along to goodreads management. I hope they will finally deal with this jerk.

Michele did the right thing: flag the posts! Then delete the guy. Goodreads said they wouldn't do anything to a guy who had no previous offenses. Well, now he's got three!

Wow, you need to go back and flag all of his inappropriate posts. Flag ALL the posts. Unless you have deleted them. I hope he didn't say anything rude about me, but I don't wanna know if he did! I am so sorry he's a serial offender. I will do what I can to nail him.

I did go back and flag one of his posts. I can't recall who he had "replied" to but it make a remark about: his wife always being under him and then continued a few posts down to announce how "horny" he was. Those are the ones I flagged for inproper and off topic!

Thank you Trema. There was one of mine that was copied and the ' horny ' comment was with it. I was definitely offended.

I don't see any way that goodreads can ignore us now. The guy's a troll, and that's being polite.

It sounds to me like the beginning of the Great Goodreads Uprising against Kyles-perv-guys! Books will be written about it.

I posted about my experience on the Moderator's Support Group, Danna. You helped me deal with this guy. I'm trying my best not to let goodreads slide on this!

They can start their own group, but they should leave the rest of us alone.

Do you remember "Kyle", who posted some horrible things on this group, inappropriate material and so on? Well, this freak is back. I have just deleted him.
Please, he is well known - negatively - as a pervert. He has been kicked out of many groups, I think his user was deleted by GR once - but he has returned, with no apparent intention to be nicer.
I just wanted you to please please let me know about such things in the group, I will delete the member immediately. Lori, I know that you have warned him and it's important you tell me.

Kyle is not a pig; not even a jerk. Yes, he posts inappropriate things at times. If you just get to know him..he's a real sweet heart.

He might be a nice person, but I know that he often posts inappropriate things. (view spoiler)[He actually made a joke about "being on top of his wife", and that's the least harsh (hide spoiler)]. This is not an 18+ group. It is not the first time he's been warned by me, and certainly not the first time he's been warned by anyone, for that matter, about such things.
