Chris Almeida (chrisalmeida) | 29 comments I have added the editor information on 3 books. They are new releases. The issue here is that when I add the editor name to the book it goes to a different profile than the actual Editor. Is there a way to link the two?
The editor in this case has a GR profile. Just not an author profile.
Does she need to gain author status before she can link the two? I believe she has submitted a request. I just am too new to being a librarian and can't figure out how to do it.
The person in question is: http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/15...
She's the Executive Editor at Carina Press.
But on the Book's listings it points to:
http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

How can I assign the books to the correct Angela James?

Thanks,

Chris

Yes.

Also, we don't usually list editors on single-author books, just on collections.

Chris Almeida (chrisalmeida) | 29 comments All of the books are collections. How can she be approved as author in this case? I think she submitted a request. Can we as librarians accept the request or just super librarians can do it?

Only official Goodreads staff member can do it. And the author/editor herself must make the request.

Chris Almeida (chrisalmeida) | 29 comments Ok. She already did. So now it's a wait and see. Thank you for the prompt reply :)
