What are some other books like the Night Huntress series? I have seen Cat and Bones being raved about so I decided to check it out. I really like it. I am almost finished reading Halfway to the Grave. I have liked vampire romance for a long time now. Way before the Twilight hype made it so popular. IMO Twilight ruiend vampires. Since reading those books I haven't been able to get into any others. They all seem the same. I have read the Dark Hunters series and loved them once, but now the writing in the newer books just seems so immature.

The thing I love most is Bones of course. I loved the whole jealousy thing with him and Timmie and just how protective he is of her. And the sex, WOW! HOT!

Have you tried the Vampires in America series? The latest is : This author does a really good read with strong H/h.

I love the Chicagoland vampires series by Chloe neill. Not as much sex, and a new way of looking at vampires, but there's wonderful vibes and a terrific characters and storyline.
I'm finding shifters great fun now. Even in the Chicagoland books, the where's are fascinating characters.
I'm telling everyone who will listen to read the Shelly Laurensten series - fantastic and sooooo funny.

The Carpathian series by Feehan has strong mating pairs. Each book is about a different pair, with a underlying story carrying over from book to book.

The Argeneau series by Sands is very funny. When one meets their mate they start to eat again, feel what the other is during sex.

Mercedes Thompson series by Briggs. Mercy & Adam are a strong couple and on their own each is too. Mercy is a Coyote shifter & Adam is the alpha wolf in the area.

Darkyn by Viehl has a strong main couple. They start off at odds with each other but become a stron pairing.

I tried the Capathian series but couldn't get into it. I have read some of the Argenaeu series and liked them. I haven't read any of the others. Thanks, I will check those out and see if I like them.
