Sharon Lipman (sharonlipmanauthor) | 56 comments Right Ladies I'm after a new series to get my teeth into. I prefer adult PNF or UF and like a series that continues with the same main characters. I've read Anita Blake, Night Huntress, and Chicagoland recently. I've just finished Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter and have added Archangels to my list of obsessions. Sadly I've come to the end of the available books in all my favourite series. Can anyone recommend something else for me PLEASE - preferably with a few books already out so I don't have an agonising wait for the next installment?

Nairabell | 193 comments You might like the Psy-Changeling books. I know they switch narrators between books, but the characters continue through. Lucas and Sascha (from book 1) are in every book, and Hawke and Sienna (from book 10) are introduced there too.

Ooh interesting. Normally it irritates me when you invest time in a character and then you don't see them for the rest of the series, but I've just read Singh's Guild Hunter series and the last book is about Dmitri. It was a brilliant read and all the other characters are still there - just in a different perspective. I did love the series so maybe I'll give it a go. Thanks! x

Terri ♥ (aka Mrs. Christian Grey) (mybookboyfriend) | 241 comments I totally recommend,

Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #1) by J.R. Ward , Pleasure Unbound (Demonica, #1) by Larissa Ione , Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning , Beyond the Highland Mist (Highlander, #1) by Karen Marie Moning , Moon Called (Mercedes Thompson, #1) by Patricia Briggs , Bitten (Women of the Otherworld, #1) by Kelley Armstrong , Storm Born (Dark Swan, #1) by Richelle Mead , Spider's Bite (Elemental Assassin, #1) by Jennifer Estep , Succubus Blues (Georgina Kincaid, #1) by Richelle Mead , Storm Front (The Dresden Files, #1) by Jim Butcher , Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs (Jane Jameson, #1) by Molly Harper

The Black Dagger Brotherhood series, Demonica series and the Fever series are a must.

Also the Shifters series by Rachel Vincent is really good (there's 6 books and the series is complete). Dead Witch Walking (The Hollows, #1) by Kim Harrison Stray (Shifters, #1) by Rachel Vincent

Terri ♥ (aka Mrs. Christian Grey) (mybookboyfriend) | 241 comments I sooooo forgot Stray (Shifters, #1) by Rachel Vincent , loved it. Love it. I may have to re-read that one.

Emily | 60 comments There are the Gone series, the Vampire Academy Series, and the House of Night Series.
The House of Night Series are ok, but get boring after a while. But the Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead are AMAZING!!!!

message 18: by Rayna (new)

Rayna These would be my picks for absolutely fatastic series!

Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning Beyond the Highland Mist (Highlander, #1) by Karen Marie Moning Full Moon Rising (Riley Jenson Guardian, #1) by Keri Arthur Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #1) by J.R. Ward Kiss of Midnight (Midnight Breed, #1) by Lara Adrian Stray (Shifters, #1) by Rachel Vincent Pleasure Unbound (Demonica, #1) by Larissa Ione Halfway to the Grave (Night Huntress, #1) by Jeaniene Frost First Drop of Crimson (Night Huntress World, #1) by Jeaniene Frost

I've read Mercy and i found that series slow and for the most part lacking. Above are my favorite PNR adult series.

If you would like to read a good YA PNR i would settle in with
Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy, #1) by Richelle Mead

Jaime Rush (jaime_rush) | 122 comments Ilona Andrews' Kate Daniels series, and Terri Garey's ghost series are great!

message 22: by Missyb (new)

Missyb | 493 comments Alyssa Day's The Warriors of Poseidon is a good series. The first 7 are out and the 8th is due out next spring. It has a main group of characters and they are in each book, but the main focus is about a different couple in each book, but a main storyline is continued throughout.
Keri Arthur's Riley Jenson series is good. A little rough sexually in sections but if you handle Anita Blake without a problem then you'll be okay. This series has a little scientific experiment aspects to it. It has plenty of different creatures, vampires & wolfs are the main characters. It has 9 books total and is completed.
Michele Rowen's Immortality Bites series has 5 books & is completed. It has vampires and a few demons. Reminds me a little of Chicagoland's Merit & Ethan's relationship but with a different outcome.
Thea Harrison's Elder Races has 3 books, and 1 short story out and anothe full book is due in March. It has a dragon, griffins, gargoyle, harpy, fae, vampires.
Erin McCarthy's Vegas vampire series has 4 books and is complete.
L A Banks Crimson Moon series has 6 books and is complete. Wolfs, vampires, fae, fairies, demons, etc. Has some government military scientific aspects to it.
Molly Harper's Jane Jameson series has 4 books with the 5th due out in February. It's about vampires and is funny.
Nancy Haddock's Oldest City Vampire has 3 books so far. She's a vampire, also has a dolphin shifter. Vampires, shifters, fae.
Lynda Hilburn's Kismet Knight series has 2 out and the 3rd is due next year. The main character is a shrink for humans & vampires & wanna be vampires, and ends up the girlfriend of the main vampire in the area.

Terri ♥ (aka Mrs. Christian Grey) (mybookboyfriend) | 241 comments @Sandy - he is so hot and soooo married. But I can look and dream!

message 24: by ~Leslie~ (new)

~Leslie~ (akareadingmachine) Ilona Andrews also has a series called "The Edge" that includes On the Edge (The Edge, #1) by Ilona Andrews , Bayou Moon (The Edge, #2) by Ilona Andrews and Fate's Edge (The Edge, #3) by Ilona Andrews . It is excellent. I love how she writes characters that are both violent and vulnerable. And the world building is incredible.

Alana ~ The Book Pimp (loonyalana) | 538 comments I love The Edge
