I found something strange in my copy of Deathly Hallows. I just posted pictures and a description on my blog. Has anyone seen something like this in their copy?

i just checked my copy of the book and they are not there

weird. I didn't think to ask around online until I was watching part 2 of the movie last night. A few years late, I know.

hmmm...I may be hallucinating but those markings do look a bit familiar. It's been a few years since I read the book. I'll check my copy.

It definitely can't just be wet, because it wouldn't have been on just those pages. I'm guessing what most others have guessed, its either intended or a mistake. Either way, it looks pretty cool.

nothing in my copy! It's great to have a book which is unique, and no one else has the marks on the pages.
