Historical Fictionistas discussion

Hi all! I just thought that I would post a quick schedule of the challenges we'll be doing this year, as well as when they will be posted. This will not only help everyone to know what's coming, but also to keep me motivated to actually make sure they are posted on time! ;)

So here's the schedule:

Mini-Challenge #4: January 1-31, 2012.
Will be posted today, December 26th.

HF Challenge #9: February 1 - March 31, 2012
Will be posted by January 15th.

April TBR Challenge (#1?)
Posted March 1st.
Sign-ups close March 31st 11:59pm EST!

Mini-Challenge #5: May 1-31, 2012
To be posted by April 15th.

HF Challenge #10: June 1 - July 31, 2012
Will be posted by May 15th.

HF Around The World Challenge (#1?): August 1 - September 30, 2012
To be posted by July 15th.

HF Challenge #11: October 1 - November 30, 2012
Will be posted by September 15th.

December will be an "off" month again, unless there's a demand to extend the #11 challenge to the end of the year.

Let me know here what you think, or if you think we should change things up or do something different. :)

I like having 3 months for the regular challenges. Gives us slower reader more time. Thank you

Any idea yet what April challenge will be?

I've got some ideas... I'm still working on the details though. I think I'll post it soon. :)

I think I've only completed about half the challenges I've participated in. I don't think I'm going to finish this one either- even with the extra month.

Probably a dumb question, but where are the actual challenges posted?

I noticed that the mini challenge was supposed to be posted by the 15th of this month but I haven't seen it at all. Is that no longer going to occur?

It will... We've had a couple real life issues come up. We're working on it and will get it posted as soon as possible.

You both do such a fine job on these challenges. They really stretch me to read outside my comfort zone. Kudos, Jackie and Becky.

No pressure Becky, I was just curious. =)
