THE Group for Authors! discussion

Hey all, I seem to be going in circles. In trying to create a Q & A, I'm told I need to join the Author Program. In following the instructions, the page is not for signing up, but my Author page. I have done book giveaways and been involved as a member.

SO..sorry to seem daft, but has anyone else run across this issue? What am I doing wrong?

On your author profile, you need to follow the "Is this you?" link to request to join the Author Program. It can take a few days to process your request.

You will receive email confirmation when your user account is upgraded to an author account. Joining the program merges your author page with your member page. The email will also contain further instructions for managing your author profile.

Probably you didn't scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. Click on "Let us know" at the very bottom of your author profile page.

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it. I'll try those solutions. I've already done the 'Is this you", but maybe I missed a step.

Then you may just need to wait a few days for your request to be approved.
