Oh, that´s hot! We had freezing temps before Christmas, on Christmas Eve it got warmer with 10C, now -1 or 2 and a bit of snow. Enjoy the holidays everyone!

We got snow this morning, 3 inches as of this moment and still snowing- just a day late :)

Hopefully 2022 will be a better year than 2021.
2021 has not been kind to a lot of us. Surely it can only get better from here!

It was a happy new year at our place. :-) lots of rain, beautiful green grass everywhere. But then north of us *gulp* serious floods, loss of life. Not good. They are in recovery now while in our area ten minutes away, it's paradise. Yin and yang.

Been gone a while.I guess I’m a rarity…I had a pretty good 2021! New grandson, new home in Hawaii, stayed in good health and completely retired. But I’m ready for another awesome year with 2022. Happy New Year to all.

Second home fir now. We rent it out by the month and use it 3-4 times a year. Right on the beach in Honolulu….Kahala area by Diamond Head.
Has anyone read Hector Miller's Scythian? The reviews run the gamut from glowing praise to book bashing. I was considering whether or not I should bother buying it.

I am currently reading FOREIGN CORRESPONDENCE by Geraldine Brooks. I have always enjoyed her novels. Her CALEB’S CROSSING remains a long time favorite. However, I never paid attention to her personal story. Had no idea she was Australian!! Shame on me. Apologies to my Friends Down Under! 😏
