Hi Jennifer, I'm new too. Congratulations on the baby. How far along are you? My son is 11 1/2, so the baby thing is far, far behind me...
One suggestion: shouldn't you be sleeping, instead of reading? ;)
For me it wasn't so much the nighttime waking up, because the son started sleeping thru the night right away (takes after his father, bless his heart...) but seeing as he slept so much at night he wouldn't take naps in the daytime... AAARRGGHH!
Then when he occasionally did take a nap, giving me a nap opportunity, my mother-in-law would invariably telephone and wake me up... I swear she had a sixth sense about when I was sleeping.
Nuf about me... welcome, Hayes

Hi Jennifer, welcome to the group and get the reading (and sleeping) in while you can.. those first few years fly by and you wont really have much time for either :)

Welcome!
I actually started reading a lot after my 2nd child was born. Kind of backwards I guess.
When is the baby due?

I never really sleep so I had no time finding time to read. I also read to my daughter when I was feeding her or rocking her to sleep! You can find little moments here and there...

Welcome to Goodreads. Congratulations on your first baby. I did the same thing when I was pregnant with my first child. I slept and I read as much as I could. Everyone told me to do that because after the baby I wouldn't get to do much of either one. LOL. Good luck to and your family. Kelly

And welcome to the group :~)

Yes you will be too tired to read once the new one comes. I've had three and they are all grown now (or mostly so). Enjoy! They grow up way to quickly!!
