Off to cogitate on my picks for Christine... :)

Buddy Reads
Black History Month: The Color Purple by Alice Ealker
President's Day (and Lincoln's birthday): Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian, Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah.
Maslenitsa (Russian spring festival): I just read this, so it wouldn't be a buddy read, but I HIGHLY recommend The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons.
Bonus Time!
Vision in White by Nora Roberts
Happy reading!

I tried to mix in some more sub-genres with the paranormal/urban fantasy stuff. I may have failed. Let me know if you would like to read any of the buddy reads. Enjoy!
Always and Forever: To Tame A Highland Warrior- Love KMM! I saw you just finished the first one. I think the series gets better as it starts to blend into the Fever world.
Cupid Rules!: Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake- I know you don't have tons of historical romance on your lists. This one is fantastic though with a wonderful rule breaking heroine. I just re-read it.
Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend: Moon Called- Ok, the gender roles aren't totally reassigned. But, Mercy is a grubby mechanic.

Single and Loving It!: American Vampire- Wonderfully dark almost horror stand alone.
Stupid Cupid - Stop Picking on Me: Hounded- Super fun urban fantasy with a male protagonist.
Valentine's Day Massacre: Agnes and the Hitman- My favorite Crusie book. It's so funny.

Black History Month: Lust- Black Cover
President's Day: Dead Iron- Set in Oregon
Maslenitsa: Kiss an Angel- Russian character

Bonus: Vision in White- I'm not a Nora Roberts fan, but this series was really cute. It has really strong female friendships.

Cupids rules! Romance abounds:
1. Always and Forever: Pleasure of a Dark Prince by Kresley Cole
2. Cupid Rules: Dreaming of You by Lisa Kleypas
3. Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend: Nightwalker by Jocelynn Drake
Screw Cupid! Who needs romance when you have books?
4. Single and Loving It!: Kindred by Octavia E. Butler
5. Stupid Cupid - Stop Picking on Me: Black Ships by Jo Graham
6. Valentine's Day Massacre: Archangel's Kiss by Nalini Singh
Other stuff happens in Febuary you know - buddy reads
7. Black History Month: The Vampire Voss by Colleen Gleason
8. President's Day (and Lincoln's birthday): Texas Gothic by Rosemary Clement-Moore
9. Maslenitsa (Russian spring festival): 13 to Life by Shannon Delany
Bonus Time!
10. Sucker Bet by Erin McCarthy

Cupid Rules! Romance Abounds ;)
1. Always and Forever - I saw that you had pretty much all of Lara Adrien's books on your shelves and that a new one just came out, so how about finishing up the series with Darker After Midnight or I saw that you had read Sarah Addison Allen in the past, so how about trying The Girl Who Chased the Moon - of all her books this is my favorite.
2. Cupid Rules!
ohhh so many choices...lol! where to begin! Well, I just read (thanks to a recommendation from photojim) Good Girls Don't and enjoyed it or how about Where the Allegheny Meets the Monongahela - a group of us are doing this as a m/m buddy read this month if you would like to join in.
3. Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend
No Mercy - while not a strict romance, there is some in here, Mercy is also a female Army sniper, it doesn't get much more kick ass than that...or how about continuing the Succubus series - I mean female sex demon helloo...you don't see those all that often (or at least i'd hope not)
Stupid Cupid! Who Needs Romance When You Have Books!
4. Single and Loving It
This was actually a lot harder that it sounded...lol! So here are a couple of choices - Hot in Here (I will never look at gelato the same way again), Untouched (after reading the description of this, I added it to my read this year pile) or My One and Only (of the Kristin Hannah books i've read, this one is my favorite)
5. Stupid Cupid, Stop Picking on Me
I had fun looking at this category - I saw you had all the books on your TBR, but not the first one, so how about The Surgeon which kicks off the Rissoli and Isles series (I just finished up book 2 and waiting on book 3 to come in from the library) or The Name of the Star - I had to recommend at least one YA...I liked the Jack the Ripper theme in this book that I just finished up
6. Valentines Day Massacre
a couple of series set in Chicago that i've started and liked, the Chicagoland Vampires by Chloe Neill which kicks off with Some Girls Bite or the Dresden Files, which starts with Storm Front
Other Stuff Happens in February You Know!
Unfortunately, i'm not going to be able to do any buddy reads this month, but here are some picks for you, I choose to go with some books that I had read and enjoyed for the most part, although there is one unknown entity in the list.
7. Black History Month
This category was probably the hardest for me and then I saw that you had Suzanne Brockmann's troubleshooter series on the pile. There is an overarching romance between Alyssa, who is black and Sam, and since you are up to book 3, their romance is just getting started so how about Over the Edge or you could try King's Passion - I haven't actually read this one, but it sounds interesting
8. President's Day (and Lincoln's Birthday)
Another hard-ist category, how about Falling For Gracie - its been a while since i've read it, but I remember the hero was running for mayor, or how about Come Unto These Yellow Sands - one of the heros is the Police Chief and there is a political election running in the back-scenes of the book
9. Maslenitsa (Russian Spring Festival)
2 choices here, one is historical fiction with a love story that is set during WW2 - The Bronze Horseman or a mystery/suspense based on the story of what might have happened to the Romanov family - Eye of the Red Tsar: A Novel of Suspense
Bonus Time!
I tend to steer clear of wedding type books, but I did like Nora Roberts wedding quartet that starts with Vision in White

Cupids rules! Romance abounds :)
Always and Forever: Mr. Darcy's Diary by Amanda Grange
Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend: Lady Sophie's Christmas Wish by Grace Burrowes—he’s all Mary Poppins and she doesn’t know what to do with a kid. I always rec it. It’s one of my favorites.
Screw Cupid! Who needs romance when you have books?
Single and Loving It!: Mr. Darcy's Secret by Jane Odiwe. It’s one of my favorites.
Stupid Cupid - Stop Picking on Me: The Historianby Elizabeth Kostova
Valentine's Day Massacre: The Godfather by Mario Puzo-It’s a fricken classic.
Other stuff happens in Febuary you know - buddy reads
Black History Month: Jubilee by Margaret Walker
President's Day (and Lincoln's birthday): Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
Maslenitsa (Russian spring festival): Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy-I know it’s probably a cliché but it’s so good.
Bonus Time!
Hmm Pride and Prejudice. It has both!

Hope you find something in these choices that you will enjoy...

Cupid Rules!: Shiver this is a beautiful love story
Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend: this was difficult but I chose Poison Study he main character is a lot stronger than the other

President's Day (and Lincoln's birthday): Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
Maslenitsa (Russian spring festival): To Love A Princess
Bonus Time!
The Iron Knight

We have many books in common, so I hope you like my recs.
Cupids rules! Romance abounds:
1. Lover Unbound - I see that you read the first four in the seriess, so maybe you could try this one.
2. Fantasy Lover - I think this is a great prequel of Dark Hunters series. I just love this book.
3. Fallen from Grace - I haven´t read this one yet, but it is in my TBR
Screw Cupid! Who needs romance when you have books?
4. Stay With Me or Her Best Friend's Lover
5. It
6. The Godfather this is a classic! And there is one very good: Bella Mafia where the women are the mobsters.
Other stuff happens in Febuary you know - buddy reads
7. The Departed - I read it this month and it´s very good.
8. Laid Bare
9. Gorky Park - I read this one a long time ago. Or Child 44

Here are your picks. I hope you can find something that interests you, if not let me know and I'll try again!
Cupids rules! Romance abounds :)
Always and Forever: A couple of options here - you seem to really like Maya Banks (I do too) but haven't read Whispers in the Dark yet. Or, you've read the first several books in Marliss Melton's Navy SEALs series, it looks like the next one up for you is Too Far Gone.
Cupid Rules!: A couple of pure romance books that I loved are Simply Irresistible and Just the Sexiest Man Alive, and both just happen to be on your TBR :)
Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend: You have Halfway to the Grave on your TBR, and Cat is about the most kick-ass heroine you'll ever find. Or, for a total change of pace, Nerd in Shining Armor is cute and fun.
Screw Cupid! Who needs romance when you have books?
Single and Loving It!: I had trouble here, because both of us seem to read and enjoy mostly series. One book that I absolutely LOVED that fits this category is Pursuit by Elizabeth Jennings, aka Lisa Marie Rice. Just the Sexiest Man Alive from above also fits this category.
Stupid Cupid - Stop Picking on Me: One of the best books I've read in years was The Help - it definitely lives up to all the hype it received. If you like audiobooks, do yourself a favor and listen to this one - it's amazingly well done. Another option (this one from your TBR) is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. You've read the rest of the series, isn't it time to finish it?
Valentine's Day Massacre: Practice Makes Perfect is a cute story set in Chicago. A second option is Out of Time, a time-travel romance set in the 1920s - the time of gangsters and speakeasies.
Other stuff happens in Febuary you know - buddy reads
Black History Month: This was difficult, because the few titles I thought of you'd already read. The cover of Caught is mostly black, and it's the first in a series I've been wanting to read for a while now.
President's Day (and Lincoln's birthday): Darker After Midnight is set in the US, and I'm going to be reading it right at the beginning of the month for another discussion. I'd love to read it with you if you're interested!
Maslenitsa (Russian spring festival): I was worried about finding something for this category, then while I was browsing through your TBR I came across A Russian Bear. If you want to read it, I'd be happy to join you!
Bonus Time! It Had to Be You is the first book in Susan Elizabeth Phillips' Chicago Stars series (the heroine has a younger half-sister who figures prominently in the storyline). Wonderful start to a wonderful series!
Happy reading!

Always and Forever: I noticed you loved the historical Lisa Kleypas books that you've read. Why don't you read Again The Magic which is .5 in the Wallflower series or Someone to Watch Over Me which is the 1st in her BowRunners series which I've heard has characters in the Wallflowers and Hathaways.
Cupid Rules!: Recommend a romance! I read As You Desire by Connie Brockway and loved it! I even named my Kindle after Harry Braxton LOL
Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend: I've heard that Mercy Thompson is pretty tough, so I suggest Moon Called by Patricia Briggs.

Other stuff happens in Febuary you know - buddy reads
Black History Month: Crave by JR Ward. The cover is mostly black ;)
President's Day (and Lincoln's birthday): Squeeze Play by Kate Angell. What's more American than baseball? This has been on my tbr list for a while as well :)
Maslenitsa (Russian spring festival): Wow! This was a hard one cause you don't have anything Russian except for the Johanna Lindsey's Cardinia series that you've read and I LOVE Russian history (even have a few college credits in it LOL) The Russian Concubine by Kate Furnivall is something I've wanted to read for a while. There is actually a book, The Jewel of St. Petersburg, that is the prequel but you don't have to read them in order (The Jewel of St Petersburg is about Lydia's mother, before she's born, where The Russian Concubine is Lydia's story)
Bonus Time! The Last Hellion by Loretta Chase is #4 in the Scoundrel series. This is one that doesn't have to be read in order. I read #3 and LOVED it!

Cupids rules! Romance abounds :)
Always and Forever: Hot Six I saw that you had read up to #5 and so I thought you could read the next one. And then go see her movie!
Cupid Rules!: Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake This is just a really good historical romance. I loved it.

Maslenitsa (Russian spring festival): Kiss an Angel We both have this on our TBR, and it looks fun.
Bonus Time! Wedding SurvivorAll about a wedding party and Julia London is a fun author.

My little sister is getting married on February 4th so here's a bonus category to pick for - select a book that is fourth in a series, has a younger sister character or features a wedding :)
My Big Fat Supernatural Wedding this is an anthology book that I've been wanting to read for a while.

Cupid rules! Romance abounds!
Always and Forever: It looks like you've enjoyed the In Death series, so my first recommendation would be Rapture in Death by J. D. Robb. Another choice would be Caressed By Ice by Nalini Singh - you liked the first two books in the series, keep reading!
Cupid Rules!: You have one of my favorite romantic books on your to-read shelf - Flat-Out Sexy by Erin McCarthy! I adore the hero in this book, how he falls for the heroine is so sweet, it just made me melt! If you are more in the mood for romantic suspense, The Darkest Hour by Maya Banks was very emotionally gripping. I loved it!
Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend: I noticed that you haven't read about Cat and Bones yet, you simply must correct that!! So I have to recommend Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. I also have to warn you though, that you will want to read the second book, One Foot in the Grave, as soon as you finish the first!
Screw Cupid! Who needs romance when you have books?
Single and Loving It!: I love Julie James and you have one of her books just waiting for you to read on your shelf - Just the Sexiest Man Alive. It isn't my favorite of hers, but that is like saying chocolate chip ice cream isn't my favorite - it's still good!
Stupid Cupid - Stop Picking on Me: I read Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen last year and loved it! It left me feeling wonderful for hours, maybe days, when I finished!
Valentine's Day Massacre: I came up with several ideas for this one. The first would be another Julie James book, Something About You. This is one of my favorites of hers! Another option would be It Had to Be You by Susan Elizabeth Phillips, a great beginning to a great series! The last choice here is Out of Time by Monique Martin. This is a time-travel book that sends a couple back to the days of Prohibition, it was very good!
Other stuff happens in February you know - buddy reads!
Black History Month: I have two picks for you here, one a buddy read and one that I won't be able to read with you (I'm a book behind). The buddy read is

President's Day: I plan on reading both Copper Beach by Jayne Ann Krentz and To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee this month. I would be happy to read either one with you!
Maslenitsa: I am usually a little OCD (really, more than a little) about reading books in order, but this is an exception. Dangerous Passion by Lisa Marie Rice. I noticed you didn't have any books by her on your shelves and wanted to recommend it even though I have already read it. I would be happy to discuss it with you even if I don't reread it.
Bonus Time! For this, I picked two books off your to-read shelf. I recently read Simply Irresistible by Jill Shalvis and loved it! It is about one of three sisters and I can't wait to read about the others! Another choice would be The Bride by Julie Garwood, it is one that I have been wanting to get to but haven't yet.

Cupids rules! Romance abounds :)
Always..."
Thanks Susan for the wonderful picks! Now I just have to decide which one, or ones, I want to read. I am seriously considering
Crave, or As You Desire, either of the Lisa Kleypas ones, but I think Again The Magic is more intriguing, or maybe Squeeze Play! I'm going to look at the monthly challenge and then decide!

Cupid Rules: Romance Abound
1. Always and Forever: Tangle of Need by Nalini Singh You've enjoyed the series so far! If you want to finish a series you started awhile ago, how about Extras by Scott Westerfeld.

9. Maslenitsa: Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips has a Russian circus performer? This was a hard one!

Bonus Time
10. Weddings! City of Fallen Angels by Casssandra Clare is the fourth in the series. Or a book that's all about weddings is The Wedding Girl by Madeleine Wickham

Always and Forever
City of Glass- I saw you rated City of Bones strongly, and that you were currently reading City of Fallen Angels, so I thought you could finish the series in Febuary.
How to Ruin a Summer Vacation I saw that you finished to other series by Simone Elkeles, so I hope you will enjoy this series too.

Cupid Rules
Making Waves I thought this was a lot of fun when I read it a couple months ago

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight- I just loved this title.

Diamonds are a girls best friend
Moon Called- This has been on my TBR for so long.
The Hunger Games- Katniss is a strong heroine and with the movie set to come out in March its the perfect time to read it.

Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers- I read and loved Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex I bet this one's just as interesting

Valentine's Day Massacre
Death Comes to Pemberley- I saw you were reading Jane Austen, so I thought I'd recommend this book to you. I just finished it this month and I thought it was really well done. But I'd expect nothing less from P.D. James. She's such an amazing mystery writer.
Perfume: The Story of a Murderer- I've watched the movie, but not read the book. Since books are usually better, I think this will be a very good read.

Black History Month
The Secret Life of Bees
Invisible Man
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings

President's Day
Graceling I've been looking for a reason to read this.
Exiled I hadn't heard of this before but I think it sounds interesting

The Master and Margarita -again, I've been wanting to read this for a long time. It's the least intimidating of Russian Books sitting on my shelves
Night Watch- loved the movie now I need to read the book.

bonus both have weddings in them
Outlander- I love Jamie Fraiser. He's second only to Mr. Darcy in my book of fantasy husbands.
Soulless- read it and loved it this month. I'm hoping to read the next book in the series in February

We don’t have a lot of books in common, but I tried my best. I hope you like some of these picks. If not, just let me know and I can try again. Also, let me know if you are interested in a buddy read.
Cupids rules! Romance abounds :)
Always and Forever: You’ve read up through #21 of Lora Leigh’s Breeds series, so how about #22 Styx's Storm?
Cupid Rules!: Since your profile says you like Judith McNaught, how about trying her Second Opportunities Series with Paradise
Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend: The most kick-ass character I know is Kate Daniels from Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews. I see you don’t have much (any?) urban fantasy on your shelfs, but if you feel like something different genre, this is one of my favorites (although this first book does start out a little slow.)

Screw Cupid! Who needs romance when you have books?
Single and Loving It!: The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I saw this on your to-read shelf. I recently read it myself and really enjoyed the experience.
Stupid Cupid - Stop Picking on Me: One of my favorite new discovers in urban fantasy is Kevin Hearne. His books are full of action and humor, and a dog that he can talk to mentally. A very funny dog. So, I’ll recommend Hounded by Kevin Hearne
Valentine's Day Massacre: The first series that comes to mind when I think Chicago is actually the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. So you could try Storm Front. But since you don’t seem to be a UF fan, how about a mystery that involves murder. Such as A is for Alibi by Sue Grafton. I see it’s on your shelf, and it’s another of my favorites.

Other stuff happens in Febuary you know - buddy reads
Black History Month: Since you enjoyed The Color Purple, how about another Alice Walker: The Temple Of My Familiar.
President's Day (and Lincoln's birthday): We both have Extreme Exposure by Pamela Clare on our t0-read lists, and from the description if involves a “handsome senator.” Works for me!
Maslenitsa (Russian spring festival): I have heard a lot of buzz about the series Tatiana and Alexander by Paullina Simons, but haven’t checked it out yet myself. The first book is The Bronze Horseman.

Bonus Time!
I saw Not Quite A Lady (Carsington Brothers, #4) by Loretta Chase on your shelf, but couldn’t tell if you had read the first three. Alternatively, I also found No Marriage of Convenience by Elizabeth Boyle. It’s got marriage in the title, so that should be close enough.

Cupids rules! Romance abounds :)

Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend: Something Wicked by Catherine Mulvany.
Screw Cupid! Who needs romance when you have books?

Always and Forever: I saw you've been reading the Fever series by KM Moning - so read the next one #2 [I think] Bloodfever, or also you enjoy Kresley Cole, so read the next one there -- or if you have read them all, try her new one Lothaire.
Cupid Rules!: I have two recs for you 1) Sweet as Sin by Inez Kelley, or 2) Kelsey's Song by Lanie Kincaid.
Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend: I have Ilona Andrews 1st in the Kate Daniels series Magic Bites, or Bloodfever again -- see a pattern?
Single and Loving It!: Got two for you 1) The Art of Racing in the Rain, or 2)Stangers
Stupid Cupid - Stop Picking on Me: I recommend either 1) 11/22/63 or 2)The Abduction
Valentine's Day Massacre: Let's try Water for Elephants [one of my all time favs], or The Godfather.
Black History Month: I picked one with a mostly black cover - Extreme Exposure - I-Team #1, and then picked one I loved from Oprah's Book List - I Know this Much is True. I've read both of these.
President's Day (and Lincoln's birthday): I chose an American author; 1) The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie or 2) A Discovery of Witches. I can buddy read either of these with you, if you want.
Maslenitsa (Russian spring festival): My first rec here has a strong Russian undertone; Winter Garden. My second has characters [parents] who are Russian immigrants; Riding Lessons. I've read both of these.
Bonus Time!
I picked a middle sister and went with Simply Irresistible.

I think we have a lot in common with our taste in books, I had the feeling that there were alot of books you have read that weren't on your shelves though, so if I have recommended things that you have already read I am sorry! I hope something will jump out at you for this month.
Cupids rules! Romance abounds :)
Always and Forever:You seemed to like the Night Huntress series and it looks like At Grave's End is your next book in the series.
Cupid Rules!:Mistress by Amanda Quick
Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend: Moon Called by Patricia Briggs has a wonderful kick ass heroine and she changes into a coyote, how is that for unconventional!
Screw Cupid! Who needs romance when you have books?
Single and Loving It!: Simple Jess by Pamela Morsi
Stupid Cupid - Stop Picking on Me: I rarely read anything that doesn't have romance in it, at least as a sub plot. But I am reading The Great Big Book of Horrible Things by Mathew White and I find it very amusing.
Valentine's Day Massacre: Linda Howard writes wonderful romantic suspense, Open Season is my favorite of her books.
Other stuff happens in Febuary you know - buddy reads
Black History Month: I am going with the black cover option on this one. Try Touch the Dark by Karen Chance
President's Day (and Lincoln's birthday): How about Welcome to Temptation by Jennifer Crusie
Maslenitsa (Russian spring festival): It is for me to think of any books with a Russian connection, but according to your shelves you have only read book 9 in the Immortals After Dark series, I recommend all of them and the most recent one has a Russian character, Lothaire by Kresley Cole. Also I think books 1-3 features some time in Russia.
Bonus Time!
How about Just Like Heaven by Julia Quinn

So, when I saw that I was going to picking for you I thought, "Hmmm, Lexa...Lexa, where do I know that name? Have I done picks for her before?" And then it finally dawned on me, duh! I owe Lexa a book from the raffle thread. Oops, sorry! Life got crazy busy and I totally forgot so thank goodness your my pickee because it served as a reminder :) Well let's go with your recommendations...
Cupid Rules! Romance Abounds
1.Always & Forever: You've enjoyed the series so far so why not continue with the hotness that is the Black Dagger Brotherhood. I think you're up to #4 Lover Revealed. {This is the one I plan to send you btw}
2. Cupid Rules!: Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison, LOVED IT!
3. Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend: If you like kick ass girls with a biting sense of humor try the first installment of one of my favorite series. Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews

Scew Cupid! Who Needs Romance When You Have Books?
4. Single and Loving It!: Why was this such a difficult category? Anyway I came up with two I think you'd enjoy... Just the Sexiest Man Alive and He Loves Lucy
5. Stupid Cupid, Stop Picking on Me: The Last Werewolf by Glen Duncan, I read this a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised. It's horror with humor and some romance.
6. Valentine's Day Massacre: A Chicago based UF that is the start of another great series, Some Girls Bite by Chloe Neill

Other Stuff Happens in Febuary - Buddy Reads
7. Black History Month: Here's an Interracial Romance by a black author that has been on my TBR for a very long time, The Beauty Within by Savannah J. Frierson
8. President's Day: Against All Odds by Irene Hannon political intrigue by an american author with a patriotic cover. On top of that we both have it on our TBRs.
9. Maslenitsa (Russian Spring Festival): I thought this was going to be the most difficult category, but it turned out to be quite easy. The first choice I've read so it can't be a buddy read, but it was really good, Sex, Murder And A Double Latte by Kyra Davis. I don't know how you feel about Historical Romance, but Lisa Kleypas is one of my fav authors and I've never heard of this one. Midnight Angel. Both have Russian characters.

BONUS CHOICE
This one starts with a wedding. I Love the author, loved the book and it was on your tbr. You can't go wrong with Kiss an Angel by Susan Elizabeth Phillips (oh! and it has a russian character)

I hope you find something good here.
Happy Reading!

Cupids rules! Romance abounds
Always and Forever: You have already started this trilogy so why not finish it (I plan to finish it as well) Fifty Shades Freed
Cupid Rules!: saw this in your shelves but doesn't look like it had been read, love KMM and just read it last month so head to Scotland for some romance Beyond the Highland Mist. If you have already read it then I suggest Too Hot To Touch this is book 1 in her Rising Chef series and I enjoyed it enough to read book 2 last month.
Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend: Sara is definitely not your typical female and absolutely kick's ass Pack Challenge
Screw Cupid! Who needs romance when you have books?
Single and Loving It!: here are three different stand alone books that I have read and enjoyed(none are romance). The first two were recommended to me by friends and the last book has to do with early dementia/Alzheimer's ~ as I'm a nurse that works with the elderly I wanted to read it and found that it was very well written as well as well researched. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn The Red Tent Still Alice
Stupid Cupid - Stop Picking on Me: outside of romance novels I enjoy thriller type novels and my favorite is the Eve Duncan series so here is the first one The Face of Deception or I also read some YA and "children type" books with my tweens my favorite for this would be by Rick Riordan - he has two series out the first in each are The Lightning Thief and The Red Pyramid
Valentine's Day Massacre: You've read this far into the Chicagoland Vampire series why not get up to date and read book 5 Drink Deep
Other stuff happens in Febuary you know - buddy reads
I probably won't have time to do a buddy read this month but here are some picks for you ~ I went with books that I have already read and mostly enjoyed minus one which I have heard good things about and is actually on by TBR
Black History Month: a black cover. The Reluctant Dom or Blood Law
President's Day (and Lincoln's birthday):
The Help or Saving Faith
Maslenitsa (Russian spring festival): The Bronze Horseman or Winter Garden
Bonus Time!
Mine to Possess #4 in Psy Changeling series or there is a wedding in In Bed with a Highlander

Dee - hmmm I wasn't aware of that going into the rec's ~ however lucky for Jim I'm not much for the historicals either, lol

I tried to mix in some more sub-genres with the paranormal/urban fantasy stuff. I may have failed. Let me know if you would like to read any of the buddy reads. Enjoy!
Always and Forever..."
Mandy ~
Thanks for the rec's. These look great. I will definitely be reading the second KMM book, have been wanting to start the Mercedes Thompson series and Hounded for a while so am going to put a hold on those from my library right now as well as. If I still have time I will try to get to Agnes and the Hitman. Unfortunately I won't have time this month for buddy reads however I am putting Lust and Dead Iron on my TBR as they both look good and this is the second time I have been recommended a Charlotte Featherstone book (Oh and look it's a historical, heehee not usually my fav but will give it a whirl)

speaking as someone who doesn't like them all that much either I can't really blame for running, lol ☺

I hope I picked something you like. I tried to stay on your TBR list because its so big.

No problem, Vi! Take your time! I look forward to your wonderful recommendations.

Thanks for the picks. I got the picks down to three but not sure which one I'm going to read yet. It will be Open Season, Something about you or Flat- out Sexy.

I just got home from throwing my daughter a B-day party and I am tired! =0)
I'm going to work on your recommendations tonight and I will post them in the morning. I promise that I will post them tomorrow.
I hope I find some books that you like.
Have fun with your picking!

Cupid Rules!
1. Always & Forever - I went ultra safe and picked out two of the big series for you to continue with... Turn Coat - Dresden Files #11 or Rapture in Death - In Death #4
2. Cupid Rules - My first option is How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf - I love Molly's writing style, slightly sacrastic with strong females and a lot of humour. Second pick for this is a buddy read that a heap of us are doing with an M/M romance - Where the Allegheny Meets the Monongahela
3. Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend - I wanted to plug the Featured Author of the month: Amanda Quick's heroines are definitely different to the standard stereotype of 19th Century England... My fav's of her historicals (outside a series) are Mischief and Seduction
Screw Cupid!
4. Single & Loving it! Keeping it simple, and both these are fun - one is free and very short, the other is one of the most popular recs around...One of Those Days or Dragon Bound
5. Stupid Cupid :( I loved this book when I read it for one of the random reading challenges: Jasper Fforde's writing is very humorous and LOTS of fun - just not romance :) - The Eyre Affair
6. Valentine's Day Massacre - I went maffia on this one, and I'm suggesting Chimera (I saw a good review on this somewhere) or The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (I just read this and loved it!)
Other Stuff: Buddy Reads
7. Black History Month I'm no expert in this area, so I went with the cover, plus I'd love to read this myself... Dance with the Devil
8. President's Day You have two books that I haven't yet read that I should get stuck into: Extreme Exposure and Some Girls Bite
9. Maslenitsa OK - part of the book is set in Estonia which for quite a period was part of Russian empire, so I think it qualifies... No Rest for the Wicked (By the way - I've already read this one.)
Bonus
10. 4th in the series I thought I'd give you the follow on from the last rec 'cos this was my fav book from Kresley Coles IAD series: Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night

I am working on your picks...I have most of it done. Will post them tomorrow or definitely by Monday morning!

Always and Forever: I saw you've been reading the ..."
Thanks Michelle - I can see you are probably confused with my Fever series :) I've decided to reread the first 3 books before I go on to the 4th... So I'm a definite to read Bloodfever from your selection :) The other two that I would love to fit in if I can are Magic Bites and Extreme Exposure. I'll just have to see how I go for time.
Thanks for the great picks Michelle! (Fab selection!)

Here are your picks. Most of my favorites are on your tbr shelf,we have quite a bit in common. I hope you find something you like!

Valentine's Day Massacre: One of my favorite authors Susan Elizabeth Phillips has a series set in Chicago. First one It Had to Be You
Other stuff happens in Febuary you know - buddy reads
Black History Month: Someone recommended The Story of Beautiful Girl to me. On my TBR Midnight Rising: John Brown and the Raid that Sparked the Civil War by Tony Horwitz who just happens to be Geraldine Brooks' husband. She's the author of March. I love his books--especially in audio.
President's Day (and Lincoln's birthday): Well the Tony Horwitz would qualify. Something a little lighter? What about Justice which takes place in DC.
Maslenitsa (Russian spring festival): Okay this was harder I came up with The Bronze Horseman or Russian Winter or The Russian Concubine
Bonus Time!
Books in my TBR with wedding themes
The Wedding Bargain or How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire
