Panem has a clearly defined class structure. Do you think that the battles and struggles between the Districts is entirely due to class?

Kelli Perry | 3 comments I don't think it's class as much as it is about oppression. The capital's goal is to make sure the Districts know they have no control over their own existance or worse, the existance of those they love.

I agree . . . I think that it is so much more about the Capitol saying "you rebelled and look where it got you," a punishment for wanting something different or better.
But I do think that the friction between the Districts is further fueled by class differences - the haves and the have nots.
