I just wanted to introduce myself. I am an award winning author who just joined Goodreads and very excited to be a member of Goodreads Authors/Readers. Your book sounds delightful. I love doll books. That is a fantastic way of giving a message to small children. I loved your interview too. The doll is so cute. I had many dolls when I was a child and thought they were all real. I hated it if anyone ever hurt my dolls and would cry. I still have my favourite ones and my rag doll, Jenny is a character in my Rascals series.

I also wrote a book about a nine-year-old bald girl that was bullied. This story also has a doll as a character, but is fantasy story.

It's good to get the message about bullying to young children. I remember being bitten and pinched by the girl next to me on my very first day at school. She hid under my desk, pinched me really hard and then bit me on the leg. Nobody saw her do it and she sat back at her desk and smiled. I yelled my head off, grabbed my bag and headed for the door. Of course I didn't get far before the teacher brought me back. Thankfully, when I explained what happened, she moved me to another seat. And to think the little bully was only five. That teacher was lovely and she spoke to the child and her mother. The little girl never did it again, not that I know of.

I'll have to buy your book, Kimberly. My grandchildren will love it, but they'll have to read it at my house because I want to keep it myself. LOL.

Kimberly, I have just purchased your book on Amazon and can't wait to read it. Trouble is it will take a while as I live in Australia. My grandchildren will love it too. :)
