i read this in middle school about 6 years ago. about all i can remember is that the prince I believe is accused of killing the king and is thrown in to a dungeon in a tower. the person made king is to young and listens to much to his corrupt adviser and starts taxing the people, or something like that. the rightful heir escapes from prison by making a rope from threads he took from his napkin that was with his meal each day. there's some other things i cant quite remember but any help you have will be great, thanks!!
