Paranormal Romance & Urban Fantasy discussion

I love this series and just wanted to know how everyone else felt about it..... I would also love other suggestions

I loved it. read it straight through one after another. The squeal series that it has moved onto I can't stand.

I Loved this series too and ended on a good note, I can't not say that for her Storm Series the ending sucked.

I only read the first one in both the Storm series and the Bloodlines series. Both didn't encourage me to read more. Although I actually hated the Bloodlines one.

I loved the VA books and I think I might like the Bloodlines books even more. I never thought Sidney would be such a good narrator.

I also read the Georgina Kincade books by Richelle Mead and enjoyed them, though not as much as VA (and they are definitely not ya). And I read the first of the Dark Swan series, but have yet to pick up the second one.

I was hopeful for the Vampire Academy series, because I heard so many good things about them. However after the first 2 books I'm not too encouraged to read more. As for Richelle Meades Storm series; after the first book I was done.

I LOVEEEE Rose and Dimitri! I really enjoyed the books. I also like Bloodlines. I have a soft spot for Adrian. I really want him and Sidney to become a couple. I haven't read an of her other books.

I loved this series Rose and Dimitri were great up until the end i was jumping for joy but also bummed that its over!

Just started this series a few days ago, and now waiting for book 3 to come in the mail.

I can't believe I haven't read this series sooner!!

I have NO idea what Rose & Dimitri's relationship will turn out like. I'm trying very very very hard not to spoil it; but I'm hoping for that happily ever after :)

I read them one after another just could not put the series down! This series is amazing. Glad I read it! :)

I've heard really amazing things about this series. I can't believe I still haven't read it! It's on my to-read list this month. :)

I jumped on this bandwagon REALLY late and only bought them as they were cheap. Bought the whole 6 books for 15 bucks!.. .I'm so glad I did.. I read them all in 6 days.. They were amazing, I knew nothing about them! so everything was just a great surprise..
i loved Dimitri! but i have to say I felt so sorry for Adrian! and definately did not see the ending coming!!

i absolutely loved the va series LOVED and i am still kinda obsessed with it man i love rose she so bad ass and dont take shit from no one she is so kick ass and awesome!! i want to read more books like but i cant friend any like the way this one is anyone got any recommendations i would really appreciate it!!

Bianca if anyone has any suggestion for you let me know! I doubt there would be though as its a once off kind of thing and anyone else would be stealing the idea. But still if you find anything that would be awesome!

So far, I'm enjoying Bloodlines more. I started to hate Rose after the 3rd book.

I loved the VA series, Rose is my favourite heroin to date (although Chicagoland's Merit is very close). Such a brilliant series however unlike most I also enjoyed Bloodlines and I'm looking forward to the next one. I've started the Georgia Kincaid books and am enjoying those too.

I loved it and I have also really liked Bloodlines, too. I think I actually prefer Sydney to Rose, but I love them both!

If you want to stay in the YA genre:

I think all of the Amanda Hocking series are good. Trylle is about changeling trolls but it kind of has that magic feel to it also. It's quite different from VA, but pretty good.



She also has a vampire series out that I really enjoyed.



The Dark Elite series by Chloe Neill was great, too. It will have the same boarding school vibe from VA, with a bit of mystery. It's mostly about magic-users but there are some supporting paranormal characters also.



The Demon Princess series by Michelle Rowen was enjoyable, too. It was a bit different and it's not as intense as VA, but really none of these can compare anyway!



Hopefully one of these will appeal to you! I never know what to read next either, and especially after reading one as good as VA, so it's interesting to see what other people will come up with. :)

I LOVE this series!!! I just finished Bloodlines and thought it was okay, not amazing, but I have faith in Richelle Mead! I think will pick up the pace and bring more romance into the mix!
