Okay folks, I'll be taking a month off from the group read moderation (getting knee surgery soon) But I'd love some suggestions for the May book!

Looks wild! Does it have anything to do with knitting? If not, I'm still willing to throw it into the mix and see if people vote!

My suggestion is Rachael Herron's memoir. Rachael Herron

Oh, shoot, I didn't realize the nomination needed to involve knitting, duh. I don't think Arcadia involves stitching of any kind, unless 70's hippie culture and living off the land counts, lol. It's raved as a really great read though...

Sara | 13 comments Did I miss the April novel? What are we reading for that month? I'm still working on Yarn, and am really enjoying it.

See first post re: April above. Too drugged to moderate for bit.

Connieb (otherwordly) | 20 comments A Life in Stitches: Knitting My Way through Love, Loss, and Laughter is $2.99 for Nook and Kindle today, normally $10.99. Don't know how long that price will last. I'm not affiliated with the author or B&N, just like finding good books at great prices.

Dang - this post didn't show up in my email until day 4/1/ and the sale price is gone.

Connieb (otherwordly) | 20 comments Oh, wonkers! I was surprised to find it at 2.99 and guessing (well, obviously) it was a one-day deal. So sorry, I would have shot off some flares if I'd known you were looking, lol.

RuthG I already had the book and perhaps some of the others have it, too. Is it still the May read?

I think we're collecting suggestions for a vote for the May read. I bought Life In Stitches, so have in handy for May, but thought I might try to read Castin Off in April.

Casting Off

I've kind-of lost track here... did we vote yet?, or do we need to vote yet?

So as May is rapidly approaching (and I'm still trying to finish March's book) I was wondering if we had picked a May book?
ETA - Nevermind, I just found the poll and voted (LOL)
