Derek, mainly because ,even though I like Simon, I picture Chloe and Derek... and I enjoy Derek's character more.

I liked Simon as well but Derek just left me breathless and i really loved his character :)

Not sure Chloe and Derek have that kind of connection yet...

I say Simon. Because Chole discribes Derek as odd, boyish, and has tons of acne. EEWWW! Not cute, plus he's too wishie-washy. But Simon is charming, cute, sweet, and I like that the Derek is younger.

exactly that is just how i thought of him, ah if only real guy were like that (that arent already taken),and i especially love how clueless he is sometimes,it just soo cute!!! and how he is just adorable in his own ways even though he could beat up anyone he wants when he feels like it,oh and how he sometimes gets all protective over chloe,that just won me over :)

Simon is a really sweet guy! I am not going to disagree...but Derek, definitely Derek :)

In my opinion Simon was like the kid brother Chloe never had, so that would never have worked.

Yeah.. Kelley Armstrong should wrote more books about Derek and Chloe, I'm really excited when i heard they are going to be in the third book of the Darkness Rising, sequel to the Darkest Powers, but with so many characters in the story i dont think they'll get enough "screen time". Or maybe my thirst for Derek and Chloe is just insatiable =)

I'll be honest the only reason im reading the Darkness rising books is so i can read the third one so that i can read more about Derek and Chloe etc, plus it might be cool to see how other people view them. x

BridieJDRAGON : Haha I also want to read Darkness Rising just to read more about Chloe and Derek. And since they only appear in the third book, I'm putting off reading the first two books till next year. When i heard about the sequel, I was hoping The Darkness Rising will continue the story from Chloe's POV or even better - Derek's POV =) I hope someday Kelley Armstrong will make a story from Derek's POV ( Short stories are just not enough for me )

Derek because he may be rough around the edges but he is caring and would do anything for the people he loves. All I got from Simon was the best guy friend vibe.

Derek of course but is he suppose to be ugly or cute cause in the book his face seems ugly but his body is suppose to be smokin hot.

I thought Derek was hot, but his issue of pimples and constantly sweating did turn me off a bit...
