As I tend to do after all the series I like (or liked in this case), could you tell me what other series you like that is comparable to this one? I'm always on the look out for a new series...thanks.

Try the Anita Blake series by laurell k Hamilton.

Series I loved a lot more in Urban Fantasy that also include some level of mystery:

Diana Rowland's Kara Gillian series
Kim Harrison's Hollows
Jennifer Estep's Elemental Assassins
Faith Hunter's Jane Yellowrock

Carrie Vaughn's Kitty Norvillw is a little more hit and miss but generally good
