I'm still not liking Emma very much. She seems very cold and calculating to me. She only cares for the power that she has as Queen and it seems like she will do anything that she can to maintain that power. While I think she does like Edmund, I sense that she only is willing to be allied with him until Edward is old enough to become king. She used Edmund because he was a better alternative to Aethelred (and Cnut). It will be interesting to see how her marriage to Cnut comes about given her desire to stay in England and remain Queen.

If I remember correctly, this is where I really started to like Emma. She was strong here and I rather thought she cared more for England and its' people and that's why she wanted to stay in power. (I will say my opinion changes). Edmund was a favorite of mine and I think their partnership was genuine. This is gonna sound a little creepy, but not knowing the history previously, I was kinda hoping they'd get together. They're around the same age and not related. Ok, gross, I know :-)

lol, very true, but considering she was married to his Father and had children with him the idea of marrying Edmund is a bit, not right. But I still wanted it all the same. :-)
