2009 A to Z authors discussion

Does anyone have good X and Z options that they may have already read and enjoyed?

This was a great read!! I read it a couple year's ago but am considering rereading this one.

The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak is excellent! I am planning to read his I am the Messenger for my "Z" selection. I have also heard good things about The Shadow of the Wind, too.
