YA LGBT Books discussion

Hi all. I'm a Canadian YA author and have written a number of novels for teens, including Hummingbird Heart, Escape Velocity, Inferno, A Thousand Shades of Blue, and Out of Order.

Inferno has a 16 yr old lesbian main character. It was an ALA Rainbow list selection.




Out of Order was my first novel and also has characters who are queer or questioning.


My hi-lo novel Big Guy is about a gay teen boy.

Thanks Kaje! Some of them (like Out of Order) are set in Canada... also one in the Bahamas and one in Australia, though the latter two don't have any LGBT characters.
