Okay so in this second book of Vampire Academy we meet the ever arrogant Adrian Ivashkov. At first he was a hot, kind of creepy Moroi. Then suddenly he became such a big character and we all(well at least most of us) fell in love! Is that not kind of weird??

I was in love the minute he said "hey little dhampir" I never thought of him as creepy lol I saw a sweet and kind loving guy with great potential from the beginning. He can't help his spirit and he handles it better than Lissa or Sonya Karp. I just love him!

Don't get me wrong love Adrain but he does not handle it getting drunk so it does not bug you or so you can not use it is not haandling it.

When reading Vampire Academy I always felt that it was missing something, and when Adrian showed up I realized he was it. When Adrian came in the book felt complete, and I loved him the MOMENT he showed up. He also grows as a character, but at the end gets torn down to pieces, making him vulnerable.

I liked that in the spin-off he's still such a vulnerable character after the breakup, and his goal in the series is to regather his life, and put it back together.

He has changed a lot from when we first met him. I thought he was kind of weird at first, but he grew on me, and now he's my favorite character in the whole VA and Bloodlines series :)

Lissa took to slicing her own arms open and Sonja turned Strigoi and killed a lot of people. I think Adrian is handling spirit better than they did.

Agreed, even if he's handling it in ways that people don't agree with. Adrian is handling sprit a lot better then the other characters, but you know I have a feeling that Richelle Mead is going to make him snap in one of these books...

I hope he does. I don't want him to become a drooling mess though. I'd like to see him become like The Joker or something.

haha that would be so funny! especially if he did the make up!

I think it would be cool to see a more dangerous side of him.

adrian was captivating thoughout it all, you could tell he would be important. he is amazing. adrian changed mainly due to love and then a brokenheart over an undeserving rose. she never felt for him and she used him like she did mason :( i hope adrian get the happy ending he deserves <3 TEAM ADRIAN <3

That drinking of his was really getting on my nervous

i always loved Adrian but i loved Dmitri more :)

yes i agree he changed due to love and a broken heart but i don't think that she used Adrian, she used Mason. His character development makes us love him so much.

adraian is trying to improve his life which is a good thing but once you ave an first impression you really cant change it? but it is worth the try!!

ahhhh i love adrian but i have a problem ugh i also love dimitri! i loved adrian from the moment he was introduced but it took me awhile to start liking dimitri. i just finished the 4th book and ugh i really dont want to spoil anything because i dont know how far people got in the series so im just gonna ugh why!?! and that i love adrian and i cant wait to read the spin-off series i can tell already its gonna be amzing! i like the act that he changed through out the story because we got to see both sides of him his playful/reckless side and his serious/vulnerable side and out of all the books he is one of my favorite fantasy crush <3333 ah i love adrian

i agree dimitri is better than adrian so much more sexier i already finshed the series last year but i always read the books over again.<3
